Hepatitis C with hemophilia, improved with homeopathy

A 41 years old man, L.R., patient identification number L-8810 reported to the clinic with the complaint of Hepatitis C, he was detected Hepatitis-C positive in April 06. He had a history of blood transfusion in 1985, due to an hand injury. He had symptoms of abdominal cramps in March 2006, for a brief period of one month for which he was investigated by an Physician, the investigations revealed that he was infected with Hepatitis -C. When he came to the clinic, he was asymptomatic. He was a known case of hemophilia detected at the age of 8 years. He complained of dark circles below the eyes.

His reports were as follows in April 2006 when he was diagnosed as Hepatitis C positive:

HBsAg : Negative
Hepatitis A : Negative
HIV : Negative
Hepatitis C antibodies : Positive.
USG Abdomen : Mild hepatology, moderate splenomegaly, PV [ 13 mm ] and SV [9.8 ] are moderately dilated.

His appetite was normal and he had desire for sweets, He could not tolerate excess of heat and would be comfortable in the cold climate, he had average perspiration. He had disturbed sleep due to anxiety regarding his illness.

He worked as a Manager in a Multi National Company. He stayed with his wife and two daughters.

He likes to accept challenges, he is ambitious, short tempered, he likes driving and music. He is dominating and stubborn. He never accepts his mistakes, he is impatient, disciplined and punctual, he mixes easily with people. He has a superiority complex and he feels I am the best.

He feels offended and disturbed if he is not able to complete his work on time. He has stress of completing deadlines, targets, He plans his next day. There was a family history of Parkinson's disease (his fatherand mother) and Hemophilia (his brother). He had not received any kind of treatment for Hepatitis C so far.

His reports were as follows in April 2006 when he was diagnosed as Hepatitis C positive:

HCV RNA quantification was done in April 06 before starting homoeopathic treatment and the value was 5,59,000 IU/ml (as seen in the reports below).

Patient was started on homoeopathic treatment based on the above history and was prescribed a remedy based on his symptoms; he was prescribed medicines for a period of 2 months. He reported a sense of well being. The treatment was continued for another few months and at the end of 7 months of treatment his HCV RNA quantification was repeated. The count had come down to 2,67,063 IU/ml (see reports above).

The vital load reduced further to 72,000 in March 2008. This was a significant drop in the viral load of the patient and at the same time the patient continued to improve with respect to his physical symptoms as well. The treatment was continued on similar lines as these types of cases are required to have a long-term follow up.
