Case-2: Dr. Shah's homeopathy helps in treating photosensitivity, hoarseness of voice, and incontinence of urine
Mrs. B. J. S. (Patient Identification Number – 8043) visited our clinic on 26th November 2005. She was forty-nine years old. She was suffering from Photosensitivity (Allergy to the sun) since 12 years. She complained of itching and burning sensation on the exposed area while she had an exposure to the sun. Her face, neck, forearms, legs and back were affected. Post exposure they would get hyper pigmented.
She also complained of urticaria since thirty years. She had episodes of severe unbearable itching all over the body before menses, before winters and from strong perfumes. She used to take anti allergy tablets as and when required.
She also suffered from episodes of hoarseness of voice since twenty five years. She would get these episodes once a month and lasted for three to four days. She would manage these acute attacks with conventional medications.
She had recently developed incontinence of urine since one year. She had to go to pass urine 8-10 times a day and twice every night. She had no other symptoms like burning sensation while passing urine etc.
She was a vegetarian. She liked eating spicy food and disliked sweets. She consumed 2-3 liters of water daily. Her bowel movements were normal. She got her menses regularly. She preferred cold weather.
She was working as a fashion designer. Her family consisted of her spouse, two children; a son and a daughter, and her in laws.
She was kind and contented person. She was reserved by nature. She was not expressive. She could not tolerate anyone lying or injustice. She retaliated whenever such occasion occurred. She had appendicectomy done in childhood.
Dr. Shah prescribed her research-based medication after studying her case in detail.
She reported over telephone on 4th February 2006. Her photosensitivity had increased due to change of weather and rests of the complaints were same. Dr. Shah upgraded the prescription.
She reported on 4th of July 2006. Her complaint of photosensitivity had reduced around 50%. The itching and redness had reduced significantly. Her hoarseness of voice and urticaria had reduced around 50%. The incontinence of urination was same. She continued medication with regular follow-ups.
After one year of treatment in 2007. Her photosensitivity had reduced around 75%. The hyper pigmentation on face, neck, back, legs and forearms had improved around 50%. There was no redness and itching had reduced. Her complaint of urticaria was around 75% better. Her skin texture had improved too as there was no dryness of her skin. Her hoarseness in voice was completely better. Incontinence of urination had also improved significantly.
After 1 more year of treatment in 2008 she reported complete recovery in her complaint of photosensitivity. Her complaint of incontinence of urine, hoarseness of voice and urticaria were completely better. The hyper pigmentation on face, neck, back, legs and forearms had improved around 75%.
