Mrs. L.S. A. aged 38, traveled from Saudi Arabia for her treatment for Extensive Lichen Planus. She spoke with one of our assistant doctors and when she saw a hope of recovery, she came down to Mumbai. She was an Arab woman, but she was fluent in English, she was a teacher by profession.

She was affected with extensive, fast spreading type of Lichen Planus, and all her body was filled with moderate to severe sized lichen planus lesions. Except her face the entire body was covered.
Her legs and back had many hypertrophic lesions.

These were triggered after taking anti-biotic Ofloxacin for an infection.

She had severe itching and new spots kept arising despite being on oral and local steroids.
    All her spots were active.
Her case was studied in detail.
She had mentioned stress as one cause for her Lichen Planus. When asked further she hesitated. And she became silent. She was explained the correlation and the need to express her feelings.

She then revealed that she had disputes with her husband. She was a teacher and he was working in a government job. The two were not in talking terms since the past 18 years.

Both had good relations with there children.
She taught her kids and saw to it that they progressed in their education.
She feels that her husband neglects her.

    She was in tears…

Dr Shah consulted her and prescribed medicines mag-mur 30 c and research based remedy, for 8 months. He assured her of complete recovery. Patient was asked to Stop Steroids.

There were some questions on her face about her recovery.

After 8 months she came to the clinic to report complete recovery. She was accompanied by her brother as a new case; he suffered from a chronic eczema.

She had brought many gifts for all the doctors and staff. Not that she was rich, but she was extremely happy about the recovery and wanted to express her gratitude.
