More Than 90% Recovery From Lichen Planus Found In 1 Year With Homeopathy At Life Force

A 38-year-old lady (PIN: 41370) came to Life Force Homeopathy on 2nd October 2019 for taking treatment for Lichen Planus, from which she was suffering for 2 months.
    Her presenting symptoms were
?Eruptions (purple lesions) on the forearms (bilateral), hips, legs (bilateral), thighs (bilateral), and on the abdomen
?She had severe itching and burning of the skin, particularly at night.

A detailed case history was taken.

The patient started experiencing symptoms in the last 2 months and was under allopathic treatment. The current flare-up of the symptoms was due to the stoppage of steroids in the last 1 month. She told that her complaints usually used to get triggered due to stress or any climate change.
The patient was taking the following allopathic medicines when she came to Life Force.
    1)Cont Excela max lotion
    2)Tab Teczine 5 mg (Levocetirizine (5mg), Montelukast (10mg)) -1D (2 weeks)
    3)Tab Aprt 30 mg (1-0-1) x 30 days.

There was a history of auto-immune disease in her family. Her father had thyroid issues and, her mother had Diabetes Mellitus.

The patient’s past medical history of illness was also asked but there was nothing specific.

Her mental and physical generals were also noted in detail.

She was a vegetarian with an average appetite with no specific cravings or aversions. Thermally, she was ambithermal, and she was experiencing average generalized sweating. She had a satisfactory bowel movement and had no urinary complaints. She had regular 28 days cycle of menses and satisfactory sexual functions. She enjoyed a sound sleep, and she preferred lying on the back or right side.

She had a very happy and well-supported family and had no history of any kind of emotional stress or trauma during her childhood. Her married life was also happy and satisfactory. The patient was a very mild, gentle, and polite lady. She was outspoken, but she always kept her talk quite precise. She was quite anxious, particularly about her disease condition. Her memory, logic, perception, intelligence, and analysis all were good.

Finally, her physical and systemic examination was done, and there were no abnormalities detected.

Dr. Shah studied the case file in detail and, after evaluating the whole case, prescribed the medicines to the patient. The patient was also advised to follow the diet chart of lichen planus.

    Follow-Ups:

The first follow-up was done on 26th November 2019. In her first follow-up, the patient was 10% better. No new eruptions had developed, and the existing spots were fading slightly. The itching had reduced, and the patient was quite happy with the result.

Her second follow-up was done on 8th February 2020. The patient was further improving, and her condition was stable. No new eruptions had developed on the skin.

By September 2020, the patient was better by almost 90%. She had very few hyperpigmented scar marks left and was advised to continue the treatment for the same. The patient was very happy and satisfied with the treatment she received under the guidance of Dr. Shah at Life Force Homeopathy.

    Conclusion
This case illustrates that homeopathy offers excellent treatment for lichen planus. It promotes deep-level healing by improving the body’s immunity. Since homeopathy works at removing the root cause of the disease, it ensures a permanent solution for autoimmune diseases, such as lichen planus. Homeopathy is safe and effective and is free from any toxic effects as well.
