Miraculous Healing Of Lichen Planus Patient With Homeopathy

Lichen planus is an auto-immune condition marked by the inflammatory condition of the skin and mucous membrane with characteristic symptoms, such as swelling and irritation in the skin, hairs, nails, and mucous membranes. Besides auto-immune nature, viral infections, allergens, stress, and genetics are its other causative factors.

Fortunately, you have homeopathy to treat the skin condition gently, effectively and safely. Let’s have a look at a case of lichen planus treated with homeopathy.

    Case Study

A 28-year-old male patient (PIN: 22725) approached Life Force Homeopathy on 3rd May 2014 for the treatment of his complaint of Lichen Planus, which he was suffering since 2 years.

    Presenting Symptoms:

He presented purplish-blue lesions over the whole body, particularly on his hands and legs. These unpleasant lesions bothered him for the last couple of years. The patient was experiencing mild itching in his lesions. The itching was more in the evening hours.

    Family’s Medical History:

The patient’s family history was asked to discover the presence of genetic factors if any and rule out the cause of auto-immune condition. His father was suffering from hypertension and diabetes, and his mother was suffering from asthma.

    Personal Medical History:

The patient’s medical history was also asked. He had suffered from typhoid once during his childhood.

His past and current treatment history were also asked and updated for future reference. He was under allopathic medicines, mostly steroid-based creams and tablets, since two years. All his medical reports were checked and updated for future reference. The patient had great trust in Dr. Shah and his treatment at Life Force Homeopathy and was expecting a safe and permanent solution to his complaint when he approached Life Force.

A detailed case history of the patient was taken into account considering both his physical and mental generals.

    Physical Generals:

He was a vegetarian and had an average appetite. He had cravings, particularly for spicy food, sweets, and paneer. He had an average thirst and drank almost 2.5-3 liters of water daily. The patient was experiencing profuse generalized perspiration, and he couldn’t tolerate the extremely hot climate. His bowel movements were satisfactory, and he had no urinary complaints as such. The patient enjoyed sound sleep and preferred lying on the left side.

His general and systemic examination was done. His BP (120/90mmhg) and weight (64.1kg) were checked and updated.

    Psychological Generals:

His mental make-up was also asked. The patient had a very happy childhood with a well-supportive family. The patient had prolonged stress due to his work (job insecurity since 8 months). He felt that his complaints would turn worse when he would take more stress. He had a very shy, reserved character with a very limited friend circle. Also, he was a lot anxious about his disease condition and was worried about whether it could be treated or not.

His intellectual sphere was also considered. His memory, logic, intelligence, perception, and analysis all were good.

Dr. Shah studied this case history and details thoroughly and, after analyzing the case, prescribed the best suitable medicine to the patient.

    Follow-Ups:

When the patient came for the first follow-up on 10th July 2014, he had experienced a 5%-10% improvement in the healing of old eruptions. However, he was getting new eruptions on the cheeks along with severe itching. The itching was severe at night. The patient had stopped using steroids once he started taking the treatment at Life Force.

At the follow-up on 13th October 2014, the patient was 30%- 40% better. The new eruptions, which he had in the previous follow-up, had healed, and his relief in the itching was better. Also, good improvement was observed in the healing of old lesions. The hyper-pigmented scars after healing were remaining.

On 11th May 2015, the patient was almost 60%-70% better in his recovery from the complaints.

By 21st October 2016, the patient was overall better by 90%. All his lesions had almost healed, and he was relieved of itching. His only concern was the hyperpigmented scars that were not getting completely cleared off. Certain home remedies/ tips along with our medicines were recommended to him for the scars.

On 1st April 2017, the patient was almost 98% better in his recovery from the complaints. The scars had also shown significant differences, and the patient was extremely grateful to Dr. Shah and the entire team of Life Force for the excellent results that he found with homeopathic treatment. The patient was also very happy that, by following the homeopathic treatment, he succeeded in getting rid of the harmful effects of steroids that he was taking for 2 years.

    Conclusion

This case illustrates that homeopathy offers excellent treatment for lichen planus. It promotes healing at a deep level by improving the body’s immunity. Since homeopathy works at treating the root cause of the disease, it ensures from a long-lasting to a permanent solution for autoimmune diseases such as lichen planus. Homeopathy is safe and effective and does not cause any side effects.
