    Lichen Planus Got Treated Successfully With Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

    A 37-year-old lady from Bangalore, Mrs. R.M. (PIN: 29361) started homeopathic treatment from Life Force on 27th July 2016 for her complaints of Lichen Planus.  

    She was suffering from lichen planus for the past one year. The spots of lichen planus were present on her hands, legs, abdomen, and back. She was experiencing a lot of itching on her skin. Also, she had complaints of dry skin. She was experiencing the burning sensation on her skin, particularly after scratching the skin. She was already taking homeopathic treatment from the past three years, but she was not experiencing much relief. Also, she was suffering from the complaints of migraine occasionally, and she used to take conventional medicines for the same.

    She had an average appetite. She had specific desires for chicken and sweets. Her thirst for water was average. Her sleep was normal. 

    She was a working lady. She had stress related to her job. She had two children who were studying. She was a family-oriented lady. She had a very sensitive nature.

    She never had any other major illness in the past. Her mother suffered from hypertension.

    After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient. 

    Follow-Ups:
    On 15th December 2016, the patient reported that she was experiencing an improvement in her condition. No new spots of lichen planus had developed on her skin after starting with the homeopathic treatment. The spread of the disease had stopped. Her itching and dryness had also reduced. 

    On 19th April 2017, the patient reported being almost 50% better with the medicines. Her itching was reduced a lot. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. Hyperpigmented spots were present on her skin. She was overall better with medicine. 

    On 9th September 2017, the patient updated that she was further better. Her relief from the complaints was almost 60% to 70% better. Her old spots had almost flattened. She was not experiencing any complaint of itching and dryness. She was very happy with the improvement.

    On 24th March 2018, the patient reported further improvement. She was almost 80% better in her relief from the complaints. Her disease was under control absolutely. She was not suffering from the itching anymore. The patient was overall better.

    On 24th July 2018, the patient updated further improvement. Her relief from the complaints was further better. Her relief from the disease was completely better. Only hyperpigmented spots were present on the skin. The patient was completely better with the medicines.

    Conclusion:
    This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus successfully and safely without any side-effects.
