Extensive Psoriasis on palms, soles, elbow, hands and knees improved by 90%
Mrs. M. V. G. (Patient Identification Number- 15133) visited our clinic on 24th November 2010. She was suffering from Psoriasis since 1 year 6 months. Her palms, soles, elbow, hands, knees and back were affected. She experienced tremendous itching which caused bleeding, burning, scaling. She was taking anti histamine to control her itching and she had been applying cortisone cream since 1 year. Her complaints were increased in winter season and on touching. She felt better in warm weather.
She also complained of Acidity since 20 years. Her complaint got worsened whenever she consumed spicy food and whenever she was traveling out station.
She used to eat mixed diet. She liked eating spicy food. She perspired profusely. She had no specific dislikes.
She had undergone tubectomy procedure.
She was a home maker. Her husband was owner of milk dairy. She had 4 children. Her 3 daughter were married and son had studied hotel management.
She was sensitive and anxious by nature. She he was anxious about her disease. She had become irritable due to tremendous itching.
Her father was suffering from diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure.
Dr. Shah prescribed her research based medicines after studying her case in detail.
Patient reported back on 21st January 2011. She had started improving. Her itching had reduced around 50%. The scaling and burning sensation had also reduced. There were no new lesions. She was happy as there was good improvement in her acidity.
Patient reported on 24th March 2011. There was increase in Psoriasis due to change in weather. The itching and scaling had increased. This was anticipated as she had stopped applying cortisone and these were steroid withdrawal effects. However her acidity was around 50% better. Patient said that she had this problem of flare up during change in weather. Dr. Shah made necessary changes in her prescription.
Patient reported on 25th May 2011. Her flare ups had come under control. She had started recovering gradually.
Patient visited on 23rd July 2011. She had around 50% improvement. Her itching and scaling had reduced. There were no new lesions. The old lesions had also started healing. Her acidity was getting better.
Patient reported on 15th September 2011. Her palms and soles were around 60-70% better. She reported that on both her knees new lesions had started appearing.
Her complaints would recur whenever there was change in weather since 5 years.
The intensity of her flare ups had reduced significantly due to homeopathic medication.
In 2012 she had improved around 50 % and in 2013 she had around 70% improvement.
She reported on 23rd January 2014. She was glad to report that she had improved around 90%. There were no new lesions and her old lesions on palms, soles, elbow, hands, knees and back had healed well. There was no itching or scaling. She was better in acidity as well. She is still continuing treatment for complete recovery.
As this was a chronic case of Psoriasis which was spread extensively on palms, soles, elbow, hands, knees and back which had history of using steroid. Patient had to take treatment for 2 years 3 months but she recovered significantly with Dr. Shah’s homeopathic treatment.
