Extensive Psoriasis Of 10 Years Relieved By 75% In 2 Years With Homeopathy
A 35-years-old mechanical engineer visited Life Force (PIN- 24445) on Dec 25, 2014, for treating his psoriasis. He was suffering from psoriasis since the last 10 years. Earlier he used to suffer from the episode of flare-ups once a year for 2-3 years, but since the last 6-7 years, the symptoms were persistent. He suffered from psoriasis lesions on his scalp, on cheeks since 6 years, on his legs since three years, on chest since last one and a half years, and on his back since the last 6 months. It means it gradually increased and covered almost all the body parts. Eruptions of psoriasis were red with itchy and scaling lesions. He suffered from burning sensation in the lesions on his chest. Psoriasis was increasing due to stress and in the winter season. He was taking Ayurvedic treatment since 4-5 months but stopped it one month before visiting Life Force. He was using clop G- clobetasol ointment 2-3 times/week since 5-6 months when he visited us. He had also used memetasone ointment, which was again steroid containing ointment, for 2 years at the onset of psoriasis 10 years ago.
His mother had cancer and grandfather and aunty on paternal side had diabetes. His maternal uncle had psoriasis history.
He also suffered from frequent cold complaint since the last 2-3 years. He was suffering from sneezing and running nose in the morning time, due to change of weather, and because of having cold food. For this, he was taking Tab Cetrizine SOS since 1-2 years.
He was suffering from constipation complaint since the last 4-5 years. His stool was unsatisfactory and semisolid and hence he needed to go 4-5 times/ day. He used to experience bloated feeling in his abdomen, and sour eructations were troubling him a lot. Once in a week, he used to suffer from these complaints. These gastric disturbances were increasing due to the intake of outside food and eating fermented food and sour food.
He used to eat veg and non-veg in his diet, and he had a good appetite. He liked spicy food, specifically fish, chicken, and eggs. He had aversion to fruit, milk, and sweets, except chocolate which he liked a lot. He used to have a good amount of water, and he had no addictions. Basically, he was a chilly person who could not tolerate cold. He is a little overweight weighing 87 Kg. His sleep was sound at times and disturbed sometimes.
He was a mechanical engineer, working in a renowned company. He was married, and his wife was working in a government aided school as a teacher. He had a 3-years-old son. His childhood and teenage were stressful. As his father was alcoholic, he had to be responsible at an early age. He was suffering from job-related stress as he was not happy with his current job. He was irritable, used to scold his son and wife. Also, he was anxious about his health and he won’t allow checking his blood pressure.
After studying his case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him psoriasis molecules - 30 twice daily for 1 month.
The patient reported to us on Jan 27, 2015, for his first follow-up. His psoriasis on scalp was as it is, eruptions on his chest got 50% better, psoriasis on his back improved a little, and eruptions on his cheeks and legs were the same. Scaling and Dryness were still present. His relief from constipation was better, and the burning in the chest had reduced. After looking into the details of complaints, doctor prescribed him Psoriasis molecules-30, Twitch- 30 for 6 weeks.
Then, on March 7, 2015, the patient reported us for a follow-up. His psoriasis on the chest was 50% better, but psoriasis on his scalp and legs had increased. His relief from itching and scaling was 50% better, and constipation and burning in his chest was 90% better. The doctor prescribed him Eosil-30 and Immutin - 30 for 6 weeks.
In May 2015, the patient came up with controlled psoriasis since the last doses. His relief from constipation was better, but he had an episode of loose motions a week ago before he visited for the follow-up. The doctor prescribed him psoriasis molecule-30 for 6 weeks.
On Sep 2, 2015, the patient visited for a follow-up. His psoriasis was increasing. Itching and scaling were also present. His relief from constipation was better. He had anxiety about disease, impending disease. The doctor prescribed him Calc Carb- 200 two doses, Kali Sulph - 200 two doses, and some research based medicine for six weeks.
In the next follow-up on Jan 18, 2016, patient’s relief from psoriasis was better 25%. Psoriasis on scalp, behind ears, back, chest, and legs had got reduced. Itching and scaling were 50% better. His relief from constipation was completely better. His fear and anxiety also were reduced a little. The doctor prescribed him Calc Carb - 200 three doses and Mzerium- 30 for six weeks.
On March 3, 2016, patient’s psoriasis had increased over all his body parts with itching and scaling. The doctor prescribed him Calc Carb- 200 three doses, Mezerium – 30, and Twitch- 30 for 6 weeks.
During the follow-up on May 31, 2016, the patient’s relief from eruptions was 25% better. Itching and scaling also had reduced to 25%. His anxiety about the impending disease also had got reduced by 25%. So, the doctor prescribed him Calc Carb 200 three doses, Mezerium – 30, and Twitch - 30 for six weeks.
When the patient reported us on 13th September 2016, his psoriasis was 50 % better. He had developed new spots behind his ear, cheek, and on chest. But, the spots on his abdomen and legs were 75% better. His relief from itching and scaling was 50% better. His anxiety and fear about disease was reduced to 50%. When the patient reported on Jan 18, 2017, his psoriasis was 60-65% better and the eruptions on his abdomen, scalp, behind the ears, and legs were 75% better. He was just having new eruptions on his chest. Scaling and itching had also reduced. His anxiety and fear about the disease got completely better. The doctor prescribed him Calc Carb-200 two doses, Mezerium – 30, and Twitch - 30 two doses for 2 months.
In June 2017, the patient came to 75% relief in psoriasis over the face, scalp, legs, abdomen, and behind the ears. He was getting only 2-3 spots on his chest. He had no other complaints. Doctor prescribed him Calc Carb- 200 two doses, Mezerium- 30, and Twitch - 30 two doses for two months.
The patient is still under our homeopathic treatment.
Conclusion:
Extensive psoriasis can be successfully treated with homeopathy.
