Extensive Lichen Planus Treated Successfully With Homeopathic Medicines
A 65-years-old man, Mr. S. G. (PIN 29632) visited Life Force Clinic on 9th September 2016 with a complaint of Lichen Planus which was affecting both the legs and forearms. His lesions were extremely itchy that would bleed after scratching. The burning sensation and scaling were present at the affected site. He was following the conventional mode of treatment in the past with no relief in his complaints. He was on antidiabetic and antihypertensive medicines.
He had fair skin with a large build. He was following a nonvegetarian diet and was have a craving, particularly for fish. He had aversion to sweets. He was addicted to alcohol and smoking. His thirst and perspiration were average. His bowel movements were regular, and his sleep was sound.
He was an engineer and was retired. He had a son and daughter who were well-settled in their jobs.
He was a very practical and fastidious person, who had anxiety for the time.
His father was suffering from hypertension, and his mother and sister were suffering from diabetes mellitus.
Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him research-based molecules.
He submitted his progress report online on 15th February 2017 with a 50% improvement in his complaints. His pain and burning in the affected parts had vanished completely.
On 7th May 2017, he submitted his progress report mentioning that his lesions had flattened out and only hyperpigmentation was remaining. This time, Dr. Shah revised his case and prescribed him with upgraded medicines for a better recovery.
