Chronic Lichen Planus Treated Successfully With Homeopathic Medicines At Life Force

A 50-year-old female from Visakhapatnam, Mrs. K. K. (PIN: 20082) started homeopathic treatment in October 2012 for her complaint of Lichen Planus.
She was suffering from it for 12 years. She had spots on her hands, legs, back, and abdomen. There were multiple spots present on her body. It was noticed that the disease was spreading day by day. She was experiencing an excessive itching on her skin. Hyperpigmented marks were also present all over her body. She was taking homeopathic treatment from a local doctor, but there was not much improvement. The patient was also suffering from Hypertension for the past many years, and she was taking antihypertensive medicines.

Her appetite was average. She had a desire for sweets. Her thirst for water was sufficient. She had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was refreshing.

She was a housewife. Her husband was doing a job in a private company. She had two children. She was staying with her in-laws in a joint family.

She did not suffer from any other major illnesses in past. There was no major illness noticed in the family.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary recommendations to the patient. She was advised to continue with her Hypertension medicines.

    Follow-Ups:
On 16th November 2013, the patient reported that, within 1 year of treatment, she was feeling better with the medicines. All the spots on her skin were subsiding gradually. Hyperpigmented marks were still present. The itching was less than before. The patient was overall better with the medicines.

On 20th October 2014, the patient updated that she was further better with the medicines. She noticed a few new spots on her hands and legs for a few months. Mild itching was present in the spots. Based on these details, Dr. Shah prescribed her further medicines.

On 14th October 2016, the patient reported being almost 50%-60% better with the medicines. Active lesions had subsided. The itching had reduced than before. Hyperpigmented marks were present on the skin. She was overall better with the medicines.

On 21st December 2017, the patient gave feedback that she was further improving with the medicines. The tendency of getting new spots was not present now. The itching was very minimal. Active lesions on the skin were very minimal. There was overall progress with the medicines. The patient was very happy with the results.

On 8th October 2019, she reported being almost 80% better in her complaints. The spread had stopped completely. The itching on her skin was not present anymore. Only the hyperpigmentation was remaining on the skin. All her active lesions were subsiding gradually with the medicines. She was overall better with the medicines.

On 4th October 2020, the patient reported being absolutely better with the medicines. She was almost 80%-90% better now. The itching was no longer present. Hyperpigmented spots had faded gradually. The skin was overall improved with the medicines. The patient was very happy with the progress.

The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating her and improving her overall health. She is continuing treatment for complete recovery.

    Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating chronic lichen planus incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
