It was in Dec'08. I was having a coin sized patch on my beard. I took 4 months treatment to cure this. This problem was diagnosed as Alopecia patch & continued taking medicines for 4 months. The alopecia areata has good improvement with the treatment. Alopecia patches have stopped spreading. Hair regrowth is observed in front portion of forehead. Along both the sides of the head, hair growth is more than before. Eyebrows are growing but they need to get more strong. The legs and hand hair growth is slow. Overall i can say 30% improvement. Feedback dated: 15-05-09 Patches are looks like disappearing, but the hair which is growing is very thin. Now there is improvement in eyebrow, eyelashes hair growth. Before Jan09 medicine dispatch left eyebrow areas or only 1or two hairs but now it is growing. Also the sides of the head have improvement than before. Body hair (chest part) also improving but the both the legs below knee part hair growth is not still complete. Front side of the head part (forehead) part has good hair growth. Overall I can say 45% improvement after the treatment.There is no more new patches appearing now!!

I noticed a very big improvement in the last months. Twice I had existing spots which rose again, but it became flat the following day. I would say that my lichen is 90% gone. Only the scars remained, but they are fading slowly. The lichen planus has definitely stopped spreading. The oral lichen planus has improved a lot as well. Now I can brush my teeth easily, can eat most of the food, even though I am still very careful with spicy food. But when I eat hot and spicy food, I noticed that I do not feel the burning sensation as strongly as before. The black spots are fading slowly on my arms and ampits,on my neck, my back and stomach.
