65 years old widower found significant relief in her Psoriasis with Dr. Shah’s medications.
Mrs. R. K. P., a retired government employee visited (Patient Identification Number - 18834) Life Force clinic on 11th April 2012. She was accompanied by her son. She had been suffering from Psoriasis since 2 – 3 years. She had been affected at scalp, abdomen, leg and buttocks. She had been taking some ayurvedic treatment since past 2 years and it had relieved her to a certain extent. There had been itching, scaling and oozing of watery discharge. Her nails were also affected with vertical ridges. There had been a period of remission in the past for 2 – 3 months on medication. This time it had been gradually spreading since 6 months.
She also complained of osteoarthritis of both knee since 1 – 2 years. She had not taken any treatment for this.
She liked sweets. The thirst, perspiration, sleep, bowels were normal. She was sensitive to both warm and cold weather.
She had retired from a central government firm. She was a widower staying with her elder brother. Her family consisted of 2 sons who were settled separately. Her younger son was married and settled in Pune. Her elder son was bachelor and staying in Mumbai.
She had lost her husband 24 years ago due to stomach cancer. She was living with her elder brother who was ailing with sickness and old age. She had been brave and courageous to bring up both her son's single handedly. It was stressful and difficult for her but still she managed.
Her other elder brother had died due to bone cancer. Her sister was suffering from asthma and high blood pressure.
Her case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah and she was prescribed few research based medicines.
She visited on 22nd May with no change in her Psoriasis. The itching and scaling was just the same. There was not much change in osteoarthritis as well.
After 2.5 months of medication she reported on 22nd June with considerable improvement in her Psoriasis. The oozing had stopped and the itching and scaling were less. The knee pain did not find much improvement. Her prescription was upgraded after reviewing her case details by Dr. Shah.
After 5 months of medication she reported on 18th September with 20% improvement in her Psoriasis. The itching and scaling were also reduced. The knee pain was also better.
She reported on 11th December with 50% improvement in her Psoriasis. The skin lesions had healed significantly leaving hyper pigmented marks. There was no scaling or itching. The knee pain was also further better.
She reported on 22nd January with around 75% improvement in her Psoriasis. The scalp was better by 50%, while other skin lesions were also better by around 60%. The scaling had reduced to minimal. The itching was also self limiting. The knee pain was better by around 50%.
She is still continuing the medicines and hoping to recovery completely with Dr. Shah’s medication.
