Psoriasis eruptions on body scaling and itching since 20 years, allopathic treatment gave temporary relief.

Mr. M. S (Patient Ref. No. L5560) a male patient, aged 40 years, reported at the clinic with complaints of psoriasis since 20 years. The patient had these skin eruptions all over the body and there was much itching and scaling. His complaints would get worse every winter. He had taken allopathic treatment for the same for a long time but that would give him only temporary relief for a short while and then the lesions would resurface again.

He also had complaints of premature ejaculation since the last 3-4 months. The patient had a stout constitution and other general features such as appetite, stools, urination, etc were normal.

There was history of stress a few years back when he was starting his factory but that gradually settled down over a period of time. There was a lot of anxiety about the illness since it had lasted so many years and there was no significant relief. There was a history of his sister having psoriasis and his father had bronchial asthma.

Based on the above history, he was prescribed Lycopodium 200 and there was significant relief in his complaints within 9-10 months of homoeopathic treatment. He was more than 75% better with regard to his psoriasis lesions in this span, as much as he had never been in the last 20 years. The itching had almost disappeared. He did have a few sporadic new lesions during the course of the treatment but then would get controlled effectively with the medicines.
