A Drastic Relief From Ankylosing Spondylitis Without The Need Of Painkillers Achieved With Homeopathy
A 42-years-old male, Mr. A.K.D. (PIN 21876) from Kolkata, West Bengal visited Life Force Homeopathy on 7th November 2013. He was introduced to Life Force Homeopathy through the internet.
He presented with the complaint of ankylosing spondylitis, which he was suffering for two years. His hips, lower back, neck, and both the thighs were affected with pain. His pain and stiffness were gradually increasing. He had pain alternating in both the hips every month. He used to experience stiffness of neck every morning for around 30 minutes. His thigh pains had started two months ago. He was suffering from difficulty in getting up from sitting position. He could not sit for a longer time than usual. He suffered from severe pain and weakness. His pains would increase with the initial movements and would get better with continuous movements. He had no family medical history of ankylosing spondylitis. During the case-taking, he mentioned that he was into gymnastics and he would get muscle cramps in hips since his childhood.
His HLA B27 report dated 5th March 2013 was positive. His X-ray report dated 16th September 2013 suggested mild sclerosis along the iliac aspect of both the sacroiliac joints. His MRI Lumbar spine report dated 3rd November 2013 was normal. He was on conventional medicines for nine months. He was on painkillers, methotrexate, and folic acid tablets, but there was no significant improvement in his condition. His complaints were increasing. He had also taken vitamin D3 supplements.
Along with ankylosing spondylitis, he was also suffering from frequent headaches from 10 to 15 years. He used to get a severe headache once in a month, which would last for 12 hours. He would mostly have pain on the left side that may even radiate to his right side. His headache would get aggravated with acidity and gas and would get better by vomiting and sleeping.
He used to follow a mixed diet comprising both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. He would like spicy food. He would experience excessive generalized perspiration. He was intolerant of the hot climate. His bowels were not satisfactory.
He was working in the sales department of FMCG goods. His wife was a teacher. He had 2 sons, one son was four years old and the other son was one month old. He was a calm and straight forward person. He had financial stress, as he had lost a huge amount of money twice, after getting in the business. His job gave him an average salary. He was the only earning member of the family. He had to take care of his ill mother, ill mother-in-law, and a sister-in-law who was suffering from cancer for 8 years. He was very anxious regarding his illness.
His father had died due to septicemia and his mother had diabetes mellitus. There was no major history of any past illness.
His case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah, and he prescribed him his research-based medicine for ankylosing spondylitis.
The patient gave his first feedback over the phone on 29th January 2014. His pains and stiffness had shown a considerable improvement in terms of relief. The next batch of medicines was sent to him.
