School Girl from Aurangabad found Cure for Migraine with Homeopathy

Miss V.P., a nine-year-old school girl from Aurangabad (Patient Identification Number: 25270) visited Life Force branch with her mother on 31st March 2015 for her complaint of migraine. She had been experiencing headaches once or twice a week since the last five to six years. Each episode of headache would begin on the left side of head and move on to involve the entire forehead and would last about an hour each time. During the episode of migraine she would suffer from nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light along with a feeling as if there was ‘nothing in there’. This headache would increase after sun exposure and sound. It would reduce after applying ice and pressure. She had taken homeopathic treatment for a year earlier. She had a family history of migraine – her mother, maternal aunt and maternal grandmother suffered from migraine.

Apart from this, Miss V.P. was also underweight with a tendency to eat well without putting on much weight.

Miss V.P. was a non-vegetarian who craved for spicy food, sweets and ice-creams. She had an aversion to fruits and did not have much thirst. She tended to perspire on her palms, soles and forehead. She was intolerant to heat in general. She would get dreams of ghosts having caught all her friends and being left alone.  She slept well and had no troubles with urination or her bowel movements.

She was a student of the 6th grade and stayed with her elder brother and parents. Her mother was a housewife and father was a civil engineer.
Her mother suffered from the skin disease - Icthyosis and migraine. Her maternal grandmother was diabetic, having high blood pressure and migraine. Her maternal aunt also suffered from migraine.

She was a creative child who liked painting. She disliked being neglected. She would get scared of punishments for incomplete books or stain on her uniform especially if singled out by her teacher. She feared staying alone in a room and cried easily. She was very attached to her father.

Dr. Rajesh Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Natrum Muriaticum 30c in addition to his research based homeopathic medicines for migraine. On 7th May2015, two months later, her mother called-up to report that her headaches had miraculously stopped completely. There had been no episodes of sensitivity to light or vomiting either. The sensation of “nothing” in her head that she felt earlier was also not PRSENT. She complained of dryness in her throat which caused nausea.

On 7th September 2015, four months later, her mother reported that she did not have any episodes of migraine and her appetite had improved. It was almost as if she had forgotten what those dreaded headaches were! She did have few episodes of dryness in her throat that caused cough, but the frequency and intensity was much lesser now. There was no vomiting or sensitivity to light.

After four months, on 4th February 2016, her mother reported on call that she had had one attack of migraine after several months. She had been reprimanded by her teacher which triggered the acute episode. However, there was no recurrence later. This single episode had also been of a lesser intensity than earlier and lasted for a lesser duration as well.

On 11th March 2016, a year after beginning treatment, Miss V.P.’s mother happily reported that she had no episodes of  headaches in the last few months and did not require treatment now. Her appetite was good and she continued to do well at school.

This case shows how homeopathy works beautifully in cases of migraine. Dr Rajesh Shah’s homeopathy treatment for migraine has helped numerous people get relief from debilitating headaches of migraine. It is true that very long standing illnesses which have gone on for decades, require a slightly longer time to get treated.

However, Miss V.P.’s  example is a pleasant surprise and case in point for those who believe that Homeopathy is very slow to act. If treatment is begun in the early stages like Miss V.P., long lasting results are easily obtained in a relatively short span of time.
