Remarkable improvement in Behavioral Problems and ADHD with Homeopathy
A 5-years-old boy from West Bengal, Master D.G. (PIN 19444) visited Life Force Homeopathy with his parents for the treatment of his ADHD on 13th July 2012. His father had read all the information on ADHD written by Dr. Shah on our website so he decided to meet Dr. Shah personally and start the treatment. At the time of their first visit, his case details were noted. His main complaints were restlessness, impulsive behavior, and inattentiveness.
He would get angry very easily and used to start crying. His complaints were increasing day-by-day. The child was hyperactive and restless, and he could not concentrate on the given task.
His appetite was moderate, and he liked sweets and milk products. He developed his milestones normally, but as he was an adopted child his family history could not be traced.
Based on the totality of symptoms, Dr. Shah prescribed him constitutional medicines along with his research-based medicines. All his follow-ups were given by his father through our patient support system as he was a long-distance patient.
At his first follow-up after two months of the treatment, his father described that after starting the medicines he was a bit more regular in daily studies, particularly in writing, than earlier. He was 20% better in terms of concentration, but his impulsiveness and restlessness were as it is. Dr. Shah prescribed medicines with increased potency.
During the follow-up after six months of the treatment, his father was happy to report 50% improvement in his concentration and 20% improvement in terms of relief from impulsiveness and restlessness. This time his father mentioned the complaints of frequent colds due to the change in weather. After considering the progress, Dr. Shah decided to continue with the same medicines.
During the follow-up after eight months of the treatment, his father was very happy to report that his grade of marks had increased. The span of the anger phase had reduced, but he still used to get anger spells. Impulsiveness and restlessness were 30% to 40 % better than earlier.
During the follow-up after twelve months of the treatment, he showed around 40% to 50% overall improvement in terms of relief from impulsiveness and restlessness and 60% to 70% improvement in concentration. He was advised to continue the medication for further recovery.
Conclusion:
This case demonstrates the powers of homeopathic medicines in treating ADHD without any help from other branches of medicine.
