Case-2: 56 years old male cured of Restless Leg Syndrome using homeopathy
Mr. M. A. (Patient Identification Number: 23924), a 56 years old male from Iran, who reported to Life Force on 29th October 2014 with the complaints of uncontrolled restlessness and pain in both the legs since eight years. He complained of restlessness of the legs daily and it would not stop till somebody stopped him from doing it. His complaints would aggravate whenever he is sitting or under stress. He is a known case of hypertension and is on anti hypertensive medications.
Personal details:
He was fond of non-vegetarian food. He was very sensitive to cold weather. He would perspire profusely on the palms and soles. His sleep was disturbed and interrupted especially between 2-3 am.
Constitution and family set up:
He had a large body frame and flabby muscles.He had an import and export business in Iran. His wife is a teacher. He has three kids out of which two sons are college students and his daughter is a software engineer.
By nature he is a happy go lucky person. The main concern was the stress about his business which was running not so well and his wife was now the main earner of the family. He had insecurities about the future, about his health. He always keeps trying and does not give up things easily. He needs time to mix up with people. He also suffered from memory loss.
Treatment
Based on this totality he was prescribed the homeopathic medicines namely Calcarea Carbonucum 30, Capsicum 30, and Dr. Shah’s research based medicine, on 29thOctober 2014.
Follow up
The patient first reported his follow up dated 31st January 2015. After the administration of these medicines he mentioned that restlessness in his legs was fine but still persisted.
The patient came for a second follow up on 9th June 2015. The patient reported that the restlessness in his legs and pain was drastically reduced. A supplementary improvement was also noticed in his memory loss. Dr. Shah prescribed him Calcarea carb 30 (2 doses) and two of his research based medicines.
The patient reported for his 3rd follow up dated 12th August 2015 with marked improvement in the restlessness and pain in his legs. The patient was very happy with the overall improvement, which had occurred so earlier than he had expected.
Conclusion
Homeopathy worked wonderfully in this case of eight years old restless leg syndrome. This is an uncommon neurological disorder but the patient responded really well to homeopathy.
