Chronic, steroid masked Lichen Planus (LP) showed substantial improvement with Dr. Rajesh Shah's homeopathic treatment.

Mr. A.N (Patient Identification Number 10700) was suffering from LP for 1 year. He was having active, purple lesions of LP on legs and abdomen. He would get mild itching on the lesions. Itching would get worse at night and after spicy food. His LP was largely masked by steroid application. He was using Beclate (steroid) cream since last 5-6 months. It was giving him just temporary relief. He wanted to get rid of his LP completely. He came to know about Life Force through one of his friends, who was treated successfully at Life Force. Mr. A.N decided to get treated under Dr. Rajesh Shah and visited Life Force on 20th May 2008.

His appetite was good. He was fond of spicy food. Thirst and bowel habits were normal. He would perspire more on his face. He would feel more comfortable in cold weather. Sleep was good.

There was no family history of any major illness.

Mr. A.N was staying in nuclear family with his parents and wife. He was running his own business. He was short tempered. He would get irritated if things do not happen as per his wish. He was dominating. He had stress about the business. He would constantly keep on thinking about his business. He would not share his emotions with others. He would get irritated with excess of noise. He would feel more comfortable when alone.

His case was thoroughly studied by Dr. Rajesh Shah and research based homeopathic medicine along with constitutional medicine were prescribed. He started responding well to the treatment. On 27th August 2008, there was 10-20% improvement in his LP. Itching had reduced by 10-20%. He had reduced the use of steroid cream. He would apply him once or twice in a week since last 2-3 months.

On 13th November 2008, he reported some increase in his LP. Itching had increased. He was getting few new active lesions on his legs. He was worried about this increase. He had stopped using steroids since last 3 months. It was explained to him that increase in his LP was because of the stoppage of steroids. His case was reviewed and medicines were upgraded. On 17th April 2009, there was 40-50% improvement in his LP. Itching had reduced by 40-50%. The lesions had started healing. There were no new lesions of LP.

He reported 60-70% improvement in next 6 months. All the lesions had started healing. There were no active lesions of LP. There were only hyperpigmented marks remaining. Itching was reduced by 60-70%. He was advised to continue the treatment for complete recovery.

On 14th August 2010, he reported 90-95% improvement in his LP. All the hyperpigmented marks were healed. Itching had stopped completely. He was very happy and satisfied with the treatment.
