Long term remission achieved in stress induced psoriasis with homeopathic medication.
Thirty two years old Mr. S. B. K. (Patient Identification Number-9429) visited our clinic on 10th March 2007. He was suffering from Psoriasis on his scalp and few scattered spots all over his body since past six months. He complained of itching and scaling. Earlier only his scalp was extensively affected but gradually it was spreading on his body as well in spite of using conventional topical application. On inquiring his complaints were triggered and increased due to stress.
He was also suffering from Migraine since past one year. He got two to six episodes every month. Each episode used to last for approximately three hours. He complained of severe right sided headache along with vomiting. His migraine episodes used to increase due to stress.
He had diminished appetite due to his health complaints. He liked eating salty food. He preferred cold weather. He perspired profusely all over his body.
He was a chef by profession. His wife was a home maker and he had two year old daughter.
He was anxious by nature. He wanted to join a good job but due to his skin complaints he was unable to do so which resulted in stress. He wanted to be independent and give best to his family. When he was unable to do so he felt stressed about his health.
He had suffered from Leprosy in 2001 for which he had taken conventional medication.
His father was suffering from diabetes mellitus and mother was suffering from asthma. His brother was suffering from high blood pressure.
