Fistula in ano and fissure recovered significantly within 4 months of Dr. Shah’s medication.
Mrs. S. H. was residing in Khar, Mumbai and read about Dr. Shah on internet. She visited Life Force on 13th December 2013 to meet Dr. Shah. She was in severe pain. Her complaints started two to three months back. It started with pain which gradually became unbearable. There was severe itching and mild swelling in the perianal area. The stools were hard, but there was no bleeding. There would rarely be discharge.
She was forty three years old young lady with healthy lifestyle. Initially she was prescribed antibiotics by her family physician which did not give any relief. She then took homeopathy for thirty to forty days which again did not give any relief. She was taking cremaffin (laxative) daily since past one month. She visited two surgeons for her complaints. The diagnosis was confirmed by a MRI scan which revealed a fistulous sinus tract periananly. Internal examination revealed a severe fissure. They advised her for surgery. But she was hesitant and opted for alternative therapy. Her daughter found about Dr. Shah through internet surfing and decided to give it a try before opting for surgery.

Her diet was vegetarian and appetite normal. She disliked sweets. She was sensitive to cold draft of air. Her sleep was refreshing. She was a home maker. Her husband was working in a government bank. She had two beautiful daughters; both were studying. She would get angry on petty things. She had stress of home renovation. The new house which she had taken for renovation had uncooperative society members. She would take time to cool down from anger. She would feel helpless. Her relation with husband was fine. They did not get together.
She was extrovert and outgoing and her husband was reserved. His husband did not interfere in her matters and vice versa. They both followed a common religious preacher. Her daughters were like her friend. Her mother suffered from hyperthyroidism and scleroderma.
She was prescribed Silicea 30c three doses along with few research based medicines for a month by Dr. Shah.
She visited Santacruz clinic on 26th December 2013. She had exerted for a religious function a day before and since then her complaints had increased. The pain was severe. On examination a dead skin and discharge was seen oozing out around the anus. The fissures were seen. The area was extremely tender. An additional medicine for a week was given.
She visited for first follow up on 8th January 2014.
Her pain and burning was better by 10 – 15%. The swelling and tenderness was also better. The discharge was less as compared to before. The burning pain while passing stools was mildly better. She had been taking cremaffin (laxative) daily. Her diet and lifestyle was maintained as advised by Dr. Shah. She visited for second follow up on 12th February 2014. There was further improvement in her pain, burning and discharge. The mild eruptions around anal area were also less. The itching had reduced significantly. She had tried to decrease the intake of cremaffin. On few days she would feel more pain and itching, but it would subside in few hours. She called up on 3rd March to update regarding a mild elevated opening felt around anus. The pain and burning was severe. She was unable to sit. The stools were soft but painful. She was provided with a week’s medicine to be taken.
She visited on 11th March 2014 to meet Dr. Shah personally. She could feel about 50 – 60% improvement in her symptoms. The fissures were better by around 70%. The pain, burning and itching was relieved by over 70%. There was rarely any discharge around the anus. She had done a MRI scan on 8th March and the findings were no fistula noted and no collection noted. She was glad to share this report with Dr. Shah and thanked him endlessly for saving her from the surgery. The fistula had healed completely.
