Severe Palmoplantar psoriasis on palms and soles found excellent result with Dr. Shah’s treatment

61 years old, Mr. M. J. (Patient Identification Number - 18238) visited Life Force on 11th February 2012. He was suffering from Psoriasis since 1 year. His palms and soles were affected, soles were severely affected. He had previously suffered from psoriasis affecting the elbows and knuckles, 7 – 8 years ago. It had been treated with cortisone local applications. Now since a year it had appeared on the soles and palms. There was mild itching with thick scaling and scabs on soles. He had started to apply cortisone since a month. He had also taken cortisone orally since July 2011.

He was a vegetarian with average appetite. He liked fried food. He was sensitive to both the extremes of temperature. His bowels were satisfactory. His sleep was sound.

He was working in accounts department of a private company. His wife was a home maker. His family consisted of son, daughter in law and grandson. His daughter was married and settled. They were planning to shift to Mumbai permanently.

He would prefer to be busy and occupied with work. He wanted to work post retirement also.

He was cured of tuberculosis in 1974 with conventional medicines. He had been operated for Hernia in the past.

He father and brother suffered from diabetes. His mother suffered from Vitiligo.

Dr. Shah prescribed him Lycopodium Clavatum 30c 2 doses along with research based medicine.

He visited on 2nd March with considerable improvement in Psoriasis. The itching was nil. The scaling and scabs had decreased by 50%.

He reported on 11th June with around 50% improvement in Psoriasis. The scaling and cracks had reduced further.

He reported on 15th November 2012 with around 75% improvement in Psoriasis. He had missed the treatment for a month which had caused mild increase in the scaling and cracks. It was winter and so it was expected to increase in winter. The palms were rough and hard. Dr. Shah upgraded the prescription.

He reported on 9th January 2013 with around 90% recovery in Psoriasis. The palms were soft and normal. The soles were also improved by 80%. The scaling and cracks were relieved by 90%. There was no itching.

He visited after 10 months on 7th November 2013. He was completely fine since the last 8 months. Since 2 months he was experiencing mild hardness and thick skin on the heels. He was advised to continue with the treatment for a few more months.
