Significant reduction in viral load after homeopathic treatment documented
Mr. D.B. a 56 year old male patient from west Bengal (patient reference number L-11916) was suffering from hepatitis C with viral load of 48,50,000 IU/ml, detected in 2006. He contacted Life Force on 18 March 2009 and started Homeopathic treatment under guidance of Dr Rajesh Shah.
He was suffering from generalized weakness, pain in the right hypochondriac region, acidity, body pain and itching all over the body, mainly on hands and legs since 2 years.
On routine medical tests his SGOT and SGPT were high and further tests revealed that hepatitis C is the underlying cause for his symptoms. His sonography report was normal. His platelet count was also normal. He had undergone an endoscopy, which was within normal limits.
The main concern now was the raised viral load counts and the general weakness and fatigue.
He was a tall, disciplined organized man with a pleasing nature, he had his own schools.
His appetite was normal with craving for salts and sweets, his thirst was normal, he felt better in the cold weather.
He had a family history of liver disease, his mother had cirrhosis of liver and father had hepatitis.
Dr Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed his research based homeopathic medicines for Hepatitis C
He reported on 11 September 2009, he was feeling energetic, his itching has also reduced, acidity was less, and appetite had also improved.
His blood tests showed HCV viral load of 41, 80,000IU/ml which had reduced as compared to 48, 80,000IU/ml (since 2006).
Dr Shah prescribed appropriate medicines for further reduction in his viral load.
On 1 January 2010, he was feeling better, and his viral load has further reduced to 36,10,000IU/ml.
On 24 December 2011, his health had improved a lot and his viral load is now 14,00,000IU/ml. There is drastic reduction in his viral load with corresponding improvement in general health. He feels energetic and we are working towards further reduction in his viral load count. He is still under care.
