11 years old Master H. P. F. (Patient Identification Number - 18012) visited our clinic on 20th January 2012 accompanied by his father. He was suffering from Atopic Dermatitis since past 5 years and it was rapidly spreading on his body since 1 month. He had tried ayurvedic treatment, homeopathy from his local physician and conventional medication. His upper and lower extremities were affected. Recently his buttock had started developing lesions. He had severe itching sensation with dryness of skin. The medicines used to give him mild relief and would get worse after some time.

He was a vegetarian with good appetite. He liked eating sweets. There were no complaints in his sleep, bowel movements, urine, and perspiration. He consumed less water. He preferred cold weather.

He was studying in 4th Std. His family consisted of grandparents, parents, one elder brother and one elder sister. His father was a businessman (diamond merchant) and mother was a home maker. His elder brother was studying in 8th Std. and elder sister was studying in 6th Std.

He was smart and duty conscious by nature. He was youngest in his family. He was good in studies and was obedient.

His father was suffering from high blood pressure.

Dr. Shah prescribed him research based medicines after studying his case in detail.

He visited for his first follow up on 24th July 2012. His itching and dryness had improved up to 50%. There were no new lesions and his old lesions had recovered almost 50%.

He revisited our clinic on 21st January 2013. He had come after 6 months as he started getting worse since 2 months He had discontinued our medications as he had recovered completely. It was explained to the patient’s parents that in atopic dermatitis it is advisable to take treatment regularly for complete recovery.

Patient’s father called up and reported on 16th May 2013 with 70% improvement. There was no itching. His lesions on upper and lower extremities and buttocks were further healing.

His father reported on 18th July 2013 with further improvement. He had no itching. His dryness of skin was better. His old lesions had almost healed. There were no new lesions or relapses.

His father reported on 11th November 2013. He had recovered completely. There was no itching or dryness. His old lesions had healed completely. He had no new lesions. His parents were glad with his recovery.
