Dr Shah has made a huge difference in my life......

A twenty years old male patient Mr. S.R.K. (Patient Identification Number-19808) came to Life Force for the treatment for Palmo-plantar psoriasis since 1.5 years. His psoriasis had then started involving the toe nails around September 2012. Patient had used Vitamin D3 analogue steroidal cream for more than one year and tablets of Neotrexate (methotrexate) for prior two months.

The symptoms included lesions with scaling and redness on palms and soles without itching. He had no other complaint. His cholesterol level was slightly on a higher level for which dietary changes were made.

Patient also had past history of kidney stone two years back, which was treated by some medicines. In the family history, his grand father had Psoriasis.

The patient was tall with average build structure, and fair complexion. He was a vegetarian with good appetite and did not have any specific food preference. He used to sweat more on his back. He was intolerant to hot climate and his bowel habits were normal; having no urinary complaints. He had sound sleep with no particular dreams.

He was a 3rd year Law student. He was good in studies and was quite enthusiast about his career. He lived in a nuclear family where his parents were running a business of supplying fishing-net. The family shared cordial relations. It was observed that the patient was very friendly and co-operative. Mixes easily with others. Happy go lucky type of personality.

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and he was prescribed research based medicine.
Patient reported on 11th October 2012 with a little improvement in the dryness of skin, and psoriasis had stopped progressing further. He had stopped applying D3 analogue steroids since the start of our medicines.

On 21st November 2012, he reported with a mild spread of psoriasis on hand but the intensity of itching was less and there were no cuts.
On January 2013, the patient reported with an aggravation in psoriasis, which was expected as the steroidal applications were stopped.

On February 2013, he reported with 50% improvement in the complaints. Scaling was better by 30%. Itching had almost stopped. There were no new rashes due to psoriasis.

On April 2013, the patient was 75% in all the symptoms. In May 2013, the patient had mild aggravation and Dr. Shah waited and watched the progress of the disease and then the patient reported with 80% improvement in the month of July 2013.
He was happy with the treatment and is continuing the treatment for few more months to minimize the chances of relapse.
