A 19 year old computer science student from Raipur visited our clinic on 11th January 2013. His patient identification number is 20508. He was suffering from Psoriasis since 2008. He had Psoriasis lesions on abdomen and back, upper and lower extremities, scalp and ears. He complained of scaling and itching. He had been using tacrolimus ointment since 5 years and anti histamines as and when itching got worst.

Having used tacrolimus ointment which is an immunosuppressant drug for 5 years it was explained to the patient that on tapering usage of this medicine resurfacing is anticipated and it will take 8-12 weeks for improvement to start.

He had good appetite. He had no specific likes or dislikes of food. His urine, sweat, bowel movements, sleep and thirst was normal.

He could tolerate both the extremes of temperatures.

He was studying in first year of Computer science. His father was working in Indian Oil Corporation as a plant manager. His elder sister was a MBA and working in a private company and younger sister was studying in Std. 9. His mother was a home maker.

He was calm and contended by nature. He was staying in Jaipur hostel since 1 year and his parents were staying in Bihar. He had happy family life without any major stress.

Dr. Shah prescribed him research based medicines after studying his case in detail.

He gave his first follow upon 8th March 2013 through online patient support system along with his pictures. He reported that there were no new Psoriasis lesions but the old lesions were as it is. Due to prolonged usage of immunosuppressant this reaction was already anticipated. Dr. Shah prescribed him enhanced dosage.

Patient reported back on 8th May 2013. He reported 60% improvement on his Psoriasis lesions. He reported that there was no itching and scaling. There were no new lesions since he started the treatment. His lesions had started healing.

Recently he visited our clinic and was glad to report on 27th August 2013 that his Psoriasis had improved up to 80%. There were no new lesions or itching and scaling. He is continuing treatment as he wants to get rid of the marks left after lesions had healed.

Patient was satisfied as he found Homeopathic treatment to be effective and useful to treat him.
