An ardent 47 years old civil engineer found 80% relief in his TN within 8 months of treatment.

Mr. S. D. (Patient Identification Number - 12733) visited the Life Force center on 3rd October 2009. He was in severe distress due to his left-sided Trigeminal Neuralgia which was not under control in spite of heavy doses of conventional medicines. He was on 800 mg of carbamazepine. Initially, there was a control, however, the pain became resistant to the 800mg dose and he was advised to take the dose of 1200 mg.

The complaint had started a year back. The pain sensations felt were – severe burning pain, lightening like pain, and vibrating type of pain. It would occur every few minutes and would last for a few seconds.

He was also suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. These were under good control by conventional medicines.

He preferred bland food and disliked spicy, sweet food. His thirst was reduced. He was thermally a hot patient. His bowels were unsatisfactory. He would feel heaviness in the abdomen in the morning after eating. His sleep was disturbed and un-refreshing.

He was a bachelor staying with his parents. He was a civil engineer, working in a government office. He was pursuing M.B.A. His mother was a homemaker, while his father was a retired military employee.

He was bold, straightforward forward, and short-tempered by nature. He believed a lot in astrology, so he did not marry as predicted by an astrologer. He was dominating and blunt in his expressions; nobody dared to mess with him. He preferred few close friends rather than a large friend circle. He was sentimental and anxious regarding his health. He had achieved everything in life and hoped that marriage too would happen if fate permitted. He felt great peace in nature and meditation. He would regularly practice yoga and meditation.

His father was suffering from high blood pressure. His mother was suffering from diabetes and arthritis.

After a detailed case analysis by Dr. Shah, he was prescribed Sulphur 200c as a constitutional remedy and some research-based medicines.

After 6 weeks (23.11.09) – there was a 10 – 15% improvement in the pain. The pain had become localized. The intensity and severity of the pain were mildly better.

After 4 months (08.03.10) – he was further better. The dosages of his conventional medicines were reduced. He was now taking 600 mg of carbamazepine. His prescription was upgraded and he was given Sulphur 1m, single-dose, and other research-based medicines.

On 18.07.10 – he reported 80% improvement. The intensity and frequency of pain had reduced considerably.

He reported again on 02.12.10 – there was further improvement. He had reduced the dose of carbamazepine to 200 mg per day. He would have no pain for a week or two. It would trigger mildly only after consuming anything cold.

He was happy with the relief he could achieve with homeopathic. He was happy to be able to reduce the dose of conventional medicines.
