He was happy as his psoriasis and stress was treated so well.
Mr. D K. 38 year’s old engineer from Panvel (Patient Identification Number 12406) was suffering from Psoriasis from 1 year. He reported at Life Force on 4 July 2009 for treatment under Dr Rajesh Shah as he had heard about the vast experience Dr Shah had in treating difficult and chronic cases of psoriasis.
He was suffering from psoriasis from last 1 year. He had itchy and flaky patches on the scalp, arms and back. Patches were spreading; itching followed scratching which led to bleeding spots. Itching would aggravate during rainy season and winter season. He had also noted that stressful situations also caused an aggravation in the symptoms of psoriasis.
He lived with his wife and son. He was an engineer by profession. His parents resided in Nagpur. He resided in Mumbai with his wife and two kids. His wife was also working as a teacher. He had no family history of Psoriasis.
He was tall and well built. He had a mild temperament. He was friendly by nature.
He was working in a multi-national company. He had to suppress his anger regularly in the job. Over a period of time he developed anxieties about his job.
His sister was residing in the US. His parents were aging and they were facing health issues. There was no one to look after them. They did not consent to stating in Mumbai with the patient. His wife was not very affectionate towards his parents. The patient was very attached to his parents, however the distance, his job and his family responsibilities made it difficult to take good care of his parents. Thus the patient was facing prolonged stress in his job and family. Last year his father had to be operated and he did not get leave from his job. So he requested his friend to attend to his father. He felt very bad and guilty about it. The entire episode and time period was stressful for him. In this setting he developed the first lesions on his scalp.
He had a good appetite. He had a liking for sweets. He did not like spicy and salty food. His thirst was normal. His bowel habits were normal. He was more tolerant to the cold than the summer.
Dr Shah studied the emotional aspect in detail and prescribed Kali-Sulphuricum 30c as his constitutional medicine along with a research based homeopathic medicine for Psoriasis.
After 3 months on 4 October 2009, he reported very good improvement. There were no new lesions and the itching had also reduced. He was at peace with himself.
On 14 January 2009, psoriatic lesions on scalp were further better; there was further improvement in itching on arms and back.
Dr Shah again studied the case and made appropriate changes in the prescription.
On 2 May 2009, there was further reduction in the psoriatic lesions on the scalp, both arms and back. Itching and scaling had markedly improved.
On 5 July 2010, he reported at Life Force; there was around 80% improvement in his Psoriasis.
On 12 October 2010, he visited the center. There were no skin lesions to show. There was complete healing. He was happy as his psoriasis and stress was treated so well.
