Mrs. V.K aged 45years, She was suffering from Lichen Planus on almost all over the body since 2 months.

Mrs. V.K aged 45years (Patient Identification Number 16067) visited Life force on 17th May 2011 for the treatment of Lichen Planus. She was suffering from Lichen Planus on almost all over the body since 2 months. She was taking ayurvedic treatment but there was no significant improvement.

She presented with moderately severe Lichen Planus on both legs and both hands with severe itching, followed by burning sensation. Her itching would aggravate at night and in AC.

She had average appetite with marked cravings for chicken. She would perspire profusely on the whole body. Her bowel movement, urination was normal but her sleep was disturbed due to severe itching.

She was sensitive and introverted by nature. She was under grief with the untimely death of her son. She would become very anxious for every small thing. She was overprotective for her second son. If he would get headache also; she would be very much worried.

Dr. Rajesh Shah studied her case details and prescribed research based homeopathic medicines along with constitutional medicines.

After 6 weeks of medications her Lichen Planus reduced by 25%. Her itching, burning sensation also reduced. Gradually the lesions flattened and healing was noticed, but some new spots were also seen because of the disease activity.

After 3 months of the medication her Lichen Planus reduced by 60%. Itching also reduced and there were no new spots. Hence, with the homeopathic medicines, spread of the disease was arrested.

After 6 months of medication there was significant improvement in Lichen Planus. Lichen Planus spots were flattened completely. There are no active lesions on palms, legs, back and abdomen. Now, she did not experience any itching or discomfort. Her skin has cleared up very substantially. But she is left with hyper pigmentation marks. She is still continuing the treatment for hyper pigmentation.
