A 4 yrs old baby was brought to Life force Center with complains of frequent colds.

A 4 yrs old baby, M. K. (Patient Ref. No. L-8433) was brought to Life force Center with complains of frequent colds.

She had colds frequently since the age of 2 yrs, would get it once in a month and last for 8 to 10 days. There would be thick mucous from the nose, which would often end up in nose block.
Her colds would get worst with chocolates, cold drinks, wafers, grapes and ice creams.
She was on antibiotics for her colds, with no relief of her complains.
Her appetite was reduced since the time she was getting these colds.

Her father and paternal grandfather had complains of recurrent colds and throat infections.
There was craving for mangoes. Her thirst was normal. She would sweat less. The baby was found to have intolerance for heat in general. Her bowel and bladder functions were normal. Her sleep was less. She was of average built.

The mother said, the baby had a normal delivery and was one month premature. Her milestones were normal.

The mother had developed hypertension during pregnancy for which she was on anti hypertensive medicines. The mother was a housewife and would be with her throughout the day. The father had a business of steel. She had 2 twin brothers who were 4 months old.

She was found to be naughty most of the times, but was a pleasant child. She was very active, but she had lack of concentration. She was very restless.
She had good grasping and so, was good at studies.
Often, she would be obstinate and would cry if not listened to.

Based on this history, she was prescribed homeopathic medicines. In the first 2 months of treatment, her colds were better by 70%. The nasal discharge was very less and the nose blocks were gone. The dependency on antibiotics was reduced considerably. Her parents were extremely happy. She continued the treatment further, for complete treatment of the colds.
