A Teenager Suffering From Pilonidal Sinus Got 60% Relieved with Homeopathy.
A 19-year-old female, Ms. Sarla (name changed) (PIN: 41086) visited Life Force Homeopathy with complaints of Pilonidal Sinus on 5th September 2019. She presented with the discomforting symptoms of pilonidal cyst. She was suffering from this problem for 2 years, and it was a recurrent issue. She was taking heavy doses of antibiotics. The patient suffered from pus discharge, pain, swelling, and tenderness. Additionally, she was suffering from other multi-systemic, such as PCOD and an underactive thyroid.
At the time when she visited Life Force for the treatment, she was obese. Her major difficulty was her inability to sit properly at a place.
Despite being under treatment with heavy antibiotics and antibacterial solutions, there was no improvement in her recovery from the condition.
After studying her case thoroughly, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines along with some dietary tips to the patient. The patient was also informed about tapering the dose of steroids and not stopping it all of a sudden as it can increase the disease symptoms.
Follow-Ups:
On 29th November 2019, when the patient visited us for her first follow-up, she mentioned that there was a decrease in the pain at the site of the cyst. Also, she mentioned that there was no pus discharge, though her other complaints were as it is.
On 17th February 2020, when the patient reported for her follow-up, she was experiencing greater relief in the pain and pus discharge. The patient was better by 40%. By this time, there was no offensive discharge present. And, the patient was experiencing a good amount of relief in her symptoms.
On 6th May 2020, when the patient had come to the clinic for her follow-up, she mentioned that now her condition was stable. She was not experiencing any unpleasant discharges, pain, and burning sensation at the site of the cyst.
On 4th July 2020, when the patient had visited the clinic, her condition was now better by 60%. She had experienced an immense reduction in her overall symptoms. Also, she noticed no new cysts formation or nodules over the coccygeal region.
At present, the patient is currently taking homeopathic treatment to maintain the relief which has been achieved with Homeopathy. She has been kept on maintenance therapy for now and is experiencing immense relief. She is living a healthy life with Homeopathy.
