A 54-year-old male patient, Mr. K.P. (PIN: 43333) started online treatment from Life Force Homeopathy for the treatment of his complaint of Eczema on 3rd July 2020.
He was suffering from eczema since 20 years. The disease was spreading day by day. Lesions were present on his hands and legs. He was experiencing very intense itching and dryness in the affected parts. The patient was experiencing intense burning after scratching the skin. He used to scratch the skin until it bleeds. He was following allopathic treatment and applying steroidal ointments for the last 20 years but didn’t get complete relief in his complaints. The patient was also suffering from Hypertension and Diabetes since a few years, and he was taking allopathic medicines for the same.
His appetite was average. The patient had no specific desire for any food. His thirst for water was average. He had no issues related to the urine and stool. His sleep was normal and refreshing.
The patient was in a private job, and he had no stress related to his work. He was satisfied with his job. The patient had a transferable job. His family was staying in another city, but he often used to visit them. He was a very happy and joyful person.
He never had any major illnesses in the past. His mother suffered from Diabetes.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed him some research-based homeopathic medicines. While starting the treatment, the patient was informed to reduce the steroid application gradually, and he was also informed about the steroid withdrawal effect that may occur once he would reduce the ointment application. Follow-Ups:
On 26th August 2020, the patient reported that he was around 10% better with the medicines. The itching and dryness had reduced than before. The scratching and burning were less than before. The disease was under control, and there was no spread of the disease. He had reduced the application of steroid ointment and used to apply only when itching was intense. There was an overall improvement in his relief with medicines.
On 28th October 2020, the patient reported that there was an increase in his itching. The disease had flared up a little as compared to before. On further evaluation, it was found that the patient had reduced application of steroids on that skin, and that led to the withdrawal effect. Hence, the itching and redness had increased than before. On 20th December 2020, the patient reported being almost 50% to 60% better with the medicines. The itching and dryness were reduced a lot than before. The disease had stopped spreading, and it was completely under control. The patient had stopped using the ointment and was only on Homeopathic medicines. On 10th February 2021, the patient reported that he was almost 60% to 70% better with the medicines. He experienced hardly any itching now. Dryness had also reduced than before. An overall improvement was noticed by the patient in his skin. He was getting improved with the homeopathic medicines day by day.
On 3rd April 2021, the patient updated being almost 80% better now. The skin had almost become normal. The texture of the skin was improved. The itching was occasionally present. Dryness was not noticed anymore. He is absolutely better with the medicines.
