A 38-Year-Old Man Found Complete Relief In GERD With Homeopathy
A 38-years-old male patient, Mr. A.D.C. (PIN: 33725) came to Life Force Homeopathy on 28th May 2020 with complaints of GERD. He was suffering from acidity for the last 15 years. He was diagnosed with GERD in April 2019 and had taken conventional treatment for 6 months till January 2020. For the last 1 month, he was experiencing a relapse and again had to take conventional medicines 4-5 times/week.
Earlier the last year, he suffered from symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and reflux, but, now, in the last month, he was experiencing only mild to moderate episodes of heartburn daily with eructations. The intake of spicy and oily, fried food would trigger his episodes. He was not experiencing nausea or vomiting. But, he was experiencing mild bloating once a week which used to get triggered by overeating and the intake of milk products.
The patient was following a mixed diet and had craving for sweets, fish, and salty food. His appetite and thirst were average. Thermally, he was a hot patient. His bowels were satisfactory. His sleep was sound and rarely had work-related dreams.
He was gentle, confident, and expressive.
His father was suffering from urticaria. His mother was suffering from hypertension and diabetes. He had asthma since childhood and was taking conventional treatment for it. Also, he had urticaria with mild angioedema which was healed at Life Force.
After studying and analyzing the case in detail, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed research-based medicines for his complaints of GERD.
Follow-Ups:
When the patient gave the first follow-up on 16th July 2020, his complaints of heartburn had reduced, but eructations were as it is. He no more experienced nausea or vomiting. He had not taken conventional medicines after starting with our treatment.
When he gave the second follow-up on 5th September 2020, he had experienced further relief in his GERD complaints. The frequency of heartburn was reduced to twice a week which was previously daily. Also, his bloating discomfort had reduced, and he had stopped conventional medicines completely.
Later, when the patient gave the third follow-up on 14th October 2020, his frequency of heartburn had reduced to once a week. Mild bloating was the same, but it may be because he was taking milk with turmeric daily. He did not take any conventional medicines.
When he gave the fourth follow-up on 28th November 2020, the frequency of his heartburn discomfort was the same as it was in the last follow-up but the intensity was reduced.
On 5th January 2021, when the patient was called up for a follow-up, he said that he has completely recovered from GERD now and hence does not need the treatment.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates how homeopathy helps in the better management of GERD and treats it effectively and safely without any side effects.
