A 53-Years-Old Lady Got Excellent Recovery From Urticaria With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 53-year-old lady, Mrs. A.L.M. (PIN: 42258) was suffering from urticaria since October 2019 and allergic rhinitis for 5-6 years. She came to Life Force on 7th January 2020. She was suffering from episodes of urticaria 2-3 times/day, and the intensity was severe. She used to have lesions of urticaria on her scalp, face, lips, and nose and swelling over the lips and around the eyes. She had a blocked nose once in 3-4 days.
She suffered from severe itching. All her complaints used to get aggravated by pressure, after a bath, on sweating and wearing tight clothing, and after contact with plastic. She used to have no episodes if she would take antihistamines. She was taking Tab. Allegra (Antihistamine) 120 mg 1 once a day and Tab. Bilagra (antihistamine) 20 mg 1 once a day since November 2019. After taking antihistamines, her urticaria used to subside in 3-4 hours. Also, she was using Allegra nasal spray 2 puffs in each nostril at night (1-2 times/week).
The patient was suffering from hypertension for 10 years and was stable with conventional medicines. She was having a history of vertigo and migraine.
The patient was following a mixed diet. Her appetite was average, and she had craving for sweet and pungent foods. She had diminished thirst and was perspiration on the back. She was a chilly patient. Her sleep was sound. She was menopausal for 6 months. She was a homemaker.
In her family, her mother had hypertension, bronchitis, vertigo, and urticaria, and her uncle was suffering from diabetes and cardiomyopathy. Also, the patient’s grandfather and brother suffered from urticaria.
Dr. Rajesh Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed his research-based medicines to the patient. The patient got very good relief from her symptoms.
Follow-Ups:
In February 2020, at the time of the first follow-up, the patient said that she was better with the medicines. The itching and severity had reduced. She had stopped Tab. Allegra since January 2020. Also, she had stopped using Allegra nasal spray.
In March 2020, the patient said that she was 90% better. She had minimal hives only if she skipped Tab. Bilagra. She experienced urticaria only on her legs and waist if she would wear tight clothes. Her dose of antihistamines Tab. Bilagra (20 mg) was reduced to 10mg once/day.
In May 2020, the patient said that she was much better. She had stopped all conventional medicines and antihistamines
In July 2020, she was almost 100% better. No episode of urticaria had occurred. She had stopped all conventional medicines and antihistamines.
In September 2020, she was 100% better. She had no rashes and no itching of the skin. Also, she had no swelling on the lips, face, and around the eyes.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating urticaria successfully and safely without any side-effects. It helps to reduce the frequency, duration, and severity of episodes and dependency on antihistamines.
