A 48-Year-Old Female Finds Immense Relief In Lichen Planus Pigmentosa (LPP) In 1 Year Of Homeopathic Treatment At Life Force

A 48-year-old female from Mumbai, Mrs. S.T. (PIN: 35403) visited and started homeopathic treatment from the Borivali branch of Life Force in January 2018, for her complaint of Lichen Planus Pigmentosa (LPP).
She was suffering from lichen planus pigmentosa for the last 1 year. She had developed hyperpigmented patches on her face and neck. The disease was spreading day by day. She was experiencing no itching, but the burning was present on her affected skin area. She had taken allopathic medicines and applied various ointments but it did not help her much.

The patient had an average appetite. She loved to eat spicy food and disliked sweets. Her thirst for water was sufficient. She had no issues related to her urine and stool. Her sleep was sound and refreshing.

She was a nurse. She was staying with her husband and children. There was no stress bothering her currently. The patient mentioned that she had stress related to her family during her childhood days. She was very reserved by nature and, usually, suppressed her feelings.

She had not suffered from any other major illnesses in the past. There were no major illnesses noticed in her family as per her case history.

After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.

Follow-Ups:
On 15th March 2018, the patient reported being overall stable with the medicines. The burning of the skin had completely vanished. The spread of the disease had reduced than before. Hyperpigmentation was still present on the affected part, but it was becoming lighter than before. She was observing slow recovery from the disease.

On 27th July 2018, the patient updated that there was an overall improvement in her relief in lichen planus pigmentosa with the medicines. She was almost 50% better now. The spread of disease was totally under control, and no new patches had appeared since she started with our homeopathic treatment. The hyperpigmentation on the skin was fading away slowly. A lot of difference and improvement in skin health was noticed with the medicines.

On 3rd December 2018, she reported that there was a complete recovery in her complaints. The spread of the disease had stopped completely. Hyperpigmented spots had faded a lot, and the skin had almost turned normal now. The patient was very happy with the improvement.

The patient thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for treating her and improving her health.

Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy is highly effective in treating lichen planus pigmentosa incredibly and safely without any side-effects.
