A Patient Finds Complete Regrowth Of Hair In Steroid Masked Alopecia Areata With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 24-year-old female, Ms. N.S. (PIN: 36646) started treatment from Life Force Homeopathy for her complaint of Alopecia Areata on 28th April 2018.
She was suffering from it for a year. She had bald patches all over her head. There were around 2-3 visible patches on her scalp. She had no other complaint apart from it. She was taking large doses of steroids for the regrowth of hair. She was taking it for a long time but it was not helping her much. Also, she was experiencing a large amount of hair fall.
Her appetite was average. She had a craving for spicy food. Her thirst for water was less. She had no issues related to the urine and stool. Her sleep was disturbed due to stress.
The patient was a chartered accountant. She always had stress related to work. Her father was running a business, and her mother was a housewife. She had a younger brother who was working with her father. The patient was very emotional and caring. Often, she used to get hurt easily.
She did not have any major illnesses in the past. Her mother had a history of kidney disease.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed some research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient. She was also advised to stop all her allopathic medicines. The patient was advised in advance that there can be an increase or aggravation in disease after stopping steroids, which she was taking for a long time.
Follow-Ups:
On 18th October 2018, the patient reported that there was no change with the medicines. Her patches had increased than before. She had stopped taking all allopathic medication. The patient was already explained regarding steroid withdrawal effects. She noticed the spread in old patches and new patches on her scalp. The patient was a lot worried about it. She was counseled properly and advised to continue with the medicines.
On 8th March 2019, the patient updated being almost 50% recovered from the condition with the medicines. The patches had started reducing in size. The regrowth of hair was observed in patches. No new patched had developed in the past few months. Her hair fall had also reduced than before. She was overall improving with the medicines.
On 8th October 2019, the patient updated being almost 80% to 90% better with the medicines. Complete regrowth of hair had occurred on her scalp. No new patch was noticed for a long time. The hair fall was reduced than before. Her hairs were getting thicker and denser gradually. The patient was very happy with the progress. She was only on Homeopathic medicines.
On 5th March 2020, the patient updated that she was 100% better with medicines. No new patch had appeared nor spread of the disease was there for a long time. All her old patches had almost vanished. There was complete regrowth of hair observed on the scalp. Hair became much dense than before. She was completely better with the medicines. The patient was very happy with the results.

This case illustrates that homeopathy is highly effective in treating alopecia areata successfully and safely without any side-effects. Also, homeopathy minimizes hair fall and promote regrowth of hair on the scalp.
