A 60-Year-Old Male Got Successfully Treated For His Trigeminal Neuralgia at Life Force Homeopathy
A 60-year-old male patient, Mr. N.B. (PIN: 25410) approached Life Force Homeopathy online on 14th March 2015 for treating his Trigeminal Neuralgia. He was suffering from the disease for 7 months and was already on conventional treatment. He was experiencing severe unbearable electric-shock-like pain on the left side corner of his mouth that would radiate to the ear and the whole of the left side of his face. The frequency of pain was almost 6 times a day, and it used to last for about 30 seconds. He was facing a lot of difficulty in opening the mouth, talking, brushing, shaving, washing the face, and chewing the food. Also, his pain got aggravated in the morning and evening. The relief in the pain used to be better a little bit by covering the face. The patient was stressed a lot because of his illness so much so that he used to anticipate the pain and developed fear and anxiety about his health and future.
He had associated diseases, such as Backache and Hypertension.
The patient’s appetite was reduced. He loved to eat sweets and fish. His thirst and perspiration were average. The patient was sensitive to the cold temperature.
The patient was angry by temperament. He used to get frustrated easily and also had a feeling of insecurity. In April 2015, the patient had undergone surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia, meanwhile, he did not approach Life Force. Finally, he visited Life Force on 26th February 2016. After the surgery, he was a little better, but the pain persisted. The patient was still on conventional medicines for pain.
Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed his research-based homeopathic medicines to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
In the first follow-up on 12th March 2016, the patient was 70% better. He felt more pain while sitting and at night. Till now, he was also following the conventional medicines.
In the next follow-up in November 2016, the patient’s pain and its frequency were further reduced. He had only 4 episodes in the last 2 months. His pain was bearable now. It was not radiating, rather it was localized to the left temple only.
In December 2017, the patient was 80% better. He had experienced no episode of Trigeminal Neuralgia in the last 6 months.
In December 2018, the patient did not experience an episode of pain in the last 1 year. Doses of conventional medicines were being tapered off. He was taking painkillers once in 4-5 days now.
In December 2019, the patient had recovered completely from Trigeminal Neuralgia. He had experienced no episodes of the condition in the last 2 years. His conventional medicines were stopped completely.
Finally, in March 2020, the patient was 95% better with no drug dependency and no episodes of Trigeminal neuralgia. Right now, the patient is on maintenance doses and is very happy with the treatment.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is very effective in treating Trigeminal Neuralgia by reducing the pain, its frequency, and duration safely without any side-effects. Homeopathy also helps eliminate drug dependency successfully.
