100% Relief From Seborrheic Dermatitis Found With Homoeopathy At Life Force

A 45-year-old male patient (PIN: 35634) started treatment from Life Force Homeopathy for his complaints of seborrheic dermatitis on 10th February 2018.

The patient had the complaints of seborrheic dermatitis from the last 17 years. He complained of sticky dandruff on scalp and face. There was also photosensitivity with erythematous macular patches on the cheek and neck after shaving and after exposure to the sun. The complaints started after the patient had taken steroids and vitamin supplements. The complaints used to get aggravated after eating lemons and curd, and his relief from the complaints was better in the summers. The patient initially had applied steroidal agents but had stopped using them as it did not give any relief.

The patient also had complaints of sinusitis and migraine.

There was a strong history of Diabetes mellitus present in his family.

The patient was obese and used to experience profuse perspiration over his palms and soles. He was thermally hot. The patient used to have recurrent dreams of walls closing over him. He was also claustrophobic.

He had a garment business and was married.

By nature, the patient was reserved and a bit irritable. He had strained relations with his elder sister.

After going through his case history, Dr. Rajesh Shah prescribed him Kali Sulph and other research-based molecules for 6 weeks.

Follow-Ups:

At the first follow-up on 26th March 2018, the patient was 65% better in his relief from the skin complaints. Again, medicines were prescribed to the patient for 6 weeks.

During the second follow-up, the patient's relief from the complaints was improving. His relief from the other complaints of sinusitis and migraine was also better. The patient continued taking medications religiously. He had stopped all steroidal applications.

The patient’s recovery from the macular eruptions was turning better gradually. He also did not suffer from any aggravation after sun exposure.

When the patient gave a follow-up on 6th February 2019, he was over 80% better than earlier. His relief from the previous eruptions was better.

In the last follow-up on 5th July 2019, the patient was 100% better. There were no patches on his face nor any dandruff. Also, he did not suffer from any attack of migraine or sinusitis in the last 3-4 months.

The patient was very happy with the treatment and continued with the medications to prevent any recurrence.

Conclusion:

This case highlights that homeopathy proves to be very beneficial in treating chronic, difficult skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis.
