Chronic & Painful Trigeminal Neuralgia Got Treated Effective With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 59-year-old lady from Mumbai, Mrs. R.J. (PIN:29020) visited Life Force’s Kemp’s Corner clinic in the month of June 2016 for the treatment of Trigeminal neuralgia.
She was suffering from trigeminal neuralgia for the past 5 years, but her complaints had aggravated from one year. She was suffering from pain on the left side of her face. Her pain was very severe and tense. It used to affect her around 5 to 6 times a day. The duration of her pain was around 2 to 3 minutes. Her pain was so severe that the patient was not able to do her day-to-day activities. She was suffering from pain while talking, brushing, touching the face, etc. She was on a heavy dose of the conventional medicines but even after having that there was no relief in her pain.
She was an obese lady with an average appetite. She had no specific desires to eat or drink. Her thirst was very less. She had normal and refreshing sleep.
The patient was a housewife. Her husband was running a business, and she used to help him occasionally in it. She had two daughters and both were married. She was a quite anxious and fearful lady. She used to get anxious about the smallest possible matter. She had quite sensitive nature.
She never had any other illnesses in the past, besides this ailment. No major illnesses were present in her family medical history.
After studying the case in detail, Dr. Shah prescribed her some research-based homeopathic medicines.
Within two months of homeopathic treatment on 5th August 2016, the patient reported that her relief from the pain was around 10% better. No major changes happened within 2 months of the treatment, but she was feeling a little relief in her intensity of the pain. She was asked to continue her conventional medicines, as she was taking it from many years and it was not advisable to stop it suddenly. On the basis of current feedback, Dr. Shah made some changes in her prescription and gave her further medicines.
After four months of the treatment on 21st October 2016, she reported almost 40% better relief with the medicines. The frequency and intensity of her pain had reduced. She was able to talk, brush, and do other day-to-day activities almost normally. Gradually, she also started reducing her allopathic medicine doses.
On 17th February 2017, the patient reported that she was stable. There was no further improvement with medicines, but, at the same time, her pains had not increased. She was overall stable with the medicines.
After one year of the treatment on 30th June 2017, she was almost 50% better with her relief from the complaints. Her overall health had improved. Her conventional medicine was almost reduced to half. The patient was very happy with the treatment.
On 22nd December 2017, she reported being stable. Her pains were stable. Now, she was able to talk for a longer duration, which was not possible earlier. The intensity of her pain had reduced to almost 50%. She continued with the conventional medicines side-by-side along with the homeopathic medicines.
After two years of treatment on 15th June 2018, she was almost 60% better. Her pains had increased in between for a few days as she was traveling in the cold weather but it came under control later on. She further continued with the medicines.
On 16th February 2019, the patient reported being almost 70% better in her relief from the complaints. Her frequency and intensity of the pain was almost nil. Now, she was getting pain hardly once a day, and it was for a few seconds. Her conventional medicine was reduced further, and, gradually, we are trying to stop the conventional medicines. The patient is very happy and satisfied with the treatment.
She thanked Dr. Shah and the whole Life Force team for saving her from such a painful condition. She is still continuing the treatment from us for a complete recovery.
