Exceptional recovery in Chronic Allergic Rhinitis with Homeopathy
A 48-years-old lady, Mrs. P.K. (PIN: 36341) started treatment from Life Force on 31st March 2018 for her complaint of allergic rhinitis.
She was experiencing a complaint of allergic rhinitis since birth. The symptoms were sneezing, watery/fluent coryza, obstruction in the nose, occipital headache, lachrymation, and itching in the nose, inner canthi of eyes, ear, and pallet. She used to experience the episode of allergy only after exposure to any allergens that would last for a day. She was allergic to pollen, dust, perfumes, and fragrance. She had taken conventional treatment for 40 years on and off and homeopathic treatment for 6 years with relief only for a time being. Currently, she was on Tab Allegra SOS with no major relief.
She also had a complaint of OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) from the last 12 years (with an obsession for excessive cleaning and fastidiousness).
Physical Generals:
Her physical structure and appetite were average. She had a strong craving for sweets, sour food, and rice. She had an aversion to spicy food. She was not able to sweat properly, and, thermally, she was a hot patient. Her thirst, urine, and stool were normal. Her menses were regular. Her obstetrical history included two abortions and two normal deliveries.
The patient was married for the last 28 years. She was having one son and one daughter. She is a homemaker, and her husband was a consultant.
Her past history included chikungunya and tonsillectomy. In family history, her father had expired due to IHD, and her brother had some psychological issues.
Nature:
She had a very lonely and sad childhood. Her mother had expired when she was a kid. She was sexually abused during the same period. She felt lonely and unloved. She was fastidious in nature and did not have faith in God. She was emotionally sensitive and had a fear of disease.
Dr. Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed research-based medicines for every six weeks to the patient
After just two months of the treatment, on 10th May 2018, there was a 50% improvement in her condition. She had not taken Tab Allegra after starting with the homeopathic treatment.
After four months of further medicines, her condition was stable with not many episodes of coryza and sneezing.
The patient is still taking the medicines. She has experienced no major episodes after starting with the treatment. She has experienced an 80% improvement in her condition. She is no more on any conventional treatment since the starting of the homeopathic treatment.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy can successfully avoid the dependency on antihistamines and other conventional medicines and can treat allergic rhinitis effectively and safely without any side-effects.
