A Remarkable Recovery From Lichen Planus Achieved With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 12-years-old girl, Ms. V.S (PIN 29806) visited Life Force Homeopathy Chembur clinic in September 2016 with her complaints of Lichen Planus, which involved her both the legs, knee joints, forearm, and calves. The patient was suffering from lichen planus from the last two years.
The patient came to us with complaints of eruptions with redness and severe itching. Her eruptions were extremely dry and led to pigmentation marks. The skin condition was also spreading which made it more troublesome for her.
She had taken the conventional medicines prior, including steroidal applications such as methotrexate, for 1.5 years for the same, but she found no long-term relief and was stuck with relapse. Her lichen planus lesions reappeared as soon as the ointments were stopped.
After a detailed case study, homeopathic medicines were prescribed to the patient by Dr. Shah.
In her first follow-up in June 2017, she showed an improvement of 20% with some relief in her itching and dryness.
In August 2017, there was a 50% improvement in her condition with great relief in her itching, dryness, and redness of the spots. Her pigmentated marks had also started responding well. The spread of her skin condition had totally stopped. Her steroidal medications were reduced as per our instructions.
In December 2017, there was a 70% improvement in all her existing eruptions.
Her existing spots had lightened up to 50%.
By the end of April 2018, there has been a marvelous 95 % improvement in her condition. The number of lichen planus spots had remarkably reduced with almost no itching, no dryness, and no redness present.
Conclusion:
This case illustrates that homeopathy is best recommended in cases of Lichen Planus. The conventional medications include steroids which are extremely harmful. On the other hand, homeopathic medicines are not only highly effective but also completely safe with no side-effects.
