Orolingual Dystonia Treated Successfully With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 53-years-old male, Mr. S.S. (PIN 24040) came to Life Force Homeopathy clinic on 8th November 2014 with a complaint of Orolingual Dystonia which he was suffering from two years. There was a sudden onset of his symptoms, but it was stable and not progressing. There was a difficulty in speech and difficulty in pronouncing the alphabets R, W, because of which he was having less confidence during the meetings. His lower lips were getting protruded. He used to experience dryness in his mouth if he would talk for more than 15-20 minutes. This complaint would get aggravated by continuous talking for more than 25 minutes. He was taking antidepressants and sleeping pills for 8 months.
There was no past history of any other disease. There was a strong family history of heart disease.
His MRI reports were absolutely normal. He was suffering from hypertension for 8 years and was on the conventional treatment.
He had an average appetite. He had craving for meat, fish, and chicken. His thirst was average. He was intolerant to the heat. His bowels and urine habits were normal. His sleep was sound.
He had work-related stress. His confidence was low, as he could not speak in meetings.
His blood pressure was within the normal limit. He was an obese person.
Dr. Shah studied his case history in detail and prescribed him with Lycopodium and a few other research-based medicines.
On 19th December 2014, there was 30% to 40 % improvement in his complaints. His speech improved significantly.
On 23rd March 2015, he reported with 70% improvement in his relief from the complaints. The dryness in the mouth was better by 90%.
On 21st November 2016, his relief from the complaints was better by 50%.
On 28th December 2017, he reported with 80% improvement in his complaints. The patient was very happy with the treatment. He is still continuing with the medications for better recovery.
