Alopecia Areata effectively treated with Homeopathy

A 29-years-old female, Mrs. R.P (Patient Identification Number 9623) visited Life Force on 15th May 2007 for the treatment of alopecia areata. She was suffering from alopecia areata from the past two and a half years. She was having large bald spots over the vertex region. She had used oral and local steroids and homeopathic medicines as well. She got temporary relief from hair fall but there was no hair re-growth. She was also suffering from an underactive thyroid. She was on thyroid supplements (Eltroxin) for the last two years. Finally, she visited at Life Force center to take homeopathic treatment from Dr. Rajesh Shah.

She also had a strong family history of autoimmune diseases. Her sister had alopecia areata, and her father was suffering from diabetes mellitus.
She had a strong craving for non-vegetarian food, particularly chicken and spicy food. Her bowel habits and micturition were normal. She used to get profuse perspiration over the palms and soles. She was more tolerant towards cold as compared to heat.

She was a housewife. Her husband was an engineer, and he was working in a private company in Pune. She was a fun-loving person, and she liked to have a good company. Because of her illness, she had developed many negative thoughts. She was very anxious about her alopecia areata. Mrs. R.P was sensitive by nature, and she could cry easily. She could not control her tears even while narrating her complaints. This condition had made her life very miserable, and she had become socially withdrawn. She felt deep embarrassment when she used to be outdoors and people would notice her. She used to tie a silk muffler over her head, however even that made her conspicuous.

Dr. Shah studied her case in detail and prescribed her research-based homeopathic medicines. With one and a half years of regular homeopathic treatment, she recovered completely from her alopecia areata.

On 30th July 2016, she visited again at our Paud Pune branch. She had a few new but small alopecia patches on her vertex area. Our doctor examined her and took her case in detail. She was continuously taking a thyroid supplement.

Dr. Shah again studied her case and prescribed her phosphorus 30 and his researched-based molecule.

On her next follow-up on 23rd September 2016, she reported more than 50% improvement. No new spots had appeared.

On her next follow-up on 10th November 2016, her condition had improved by 90%.

On 16th March 2017, she gave her follow-up and informed that her condition was totally recovered. She had to continue thyroid supplements for her hypothyroidism.
