A Kid Girl’s Tinea Corporis Gets Treated Effectively With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 6-years-old girl from Mumbai, Baby A.J Singh (PIN: 27012) approached Life Force on Oct 2015 for treating her Tinea Corporis.
She suffered from the complaints of fungal infection which was in the form of slight hyperpigmented pruritic skin with reddish elevated edges since 2-3 years on her right axilla. Her skin was dry. Also, she was suffering from itching and irritation over that area. Her fungal infection was slightly progressing. She was using Topical Eumosone - M (Clobetasol Propionate Cream), which is a topical steroid, and applied it on & off for 2 years.
She had no other associated complaints.
Her appetite was average. She had an aversion to spicy food. Her thirst & perspiration was average. Thermally, she was a chilly patient. Her sleep was disturbed, and she used to get up in between. Her stools and urine were satisfactory and no abnormality was noted.
She was a student studying in 2nd standard. Her father was a Software Engineer working at Accenture. Her mother was an IT graduate, who used to work into IT department in TCS.
She was a reserved personality. She used to take time to mix-up with new people.
Her family’s medical history was very peculiar. Her father had eczema. From her paternal side, her grandfather had benign tumor and grandmother had tuberculosis. From her maternal side, her grandfather had diabetes and grandmother had arthritis.
Patient had no significant past history.
Dr. Shah studied the case in detail and prescribed Bacilinum 30c TDS along with research based homeopathic medicines for 6 weeks.

In the 1st follow-up: The infection had stopped from spreading further. The patient was experiencing itching which was mild to moderate and only at night.
In the subsequent follow-up: The patient experienced 20-30% improvement and the infection had stopped spreading completely. The itching was minimal too.
After approximately 1 year of regular treatment and following good hygienic habits: Hyperpigmentation on the patient’s skin was reducing along with itching. The further spread of the infection had completely stopped.
Currently, the area of armpit is much better and more improved than earlier. Hyper-pigmentation is hardly seen now. No itching is experienced by the patient, and no new spread is noted.
