Leukocytoclasitc Vasculitis Treated Effectively At Life Force
26-years-old Business Analyst, Miss. DD (patient identification number 30969) approached Life Force Homeopathy for the treatment of leukocytoclastic vasculitis.
Her complaints had started 2 years back. Once in every 6 months, she used to get reddish purpuric rash with severe itching on the lower legs. The size of rash would vary from tiny eruptions to 1-1.5 cm. She used to develop swelling on her lower legs along with the rash. She used to suffer pain in legs, especially in her calf muscles during the acute episode of vasculitis. Each episode would last for 3-5 days. She observed that, after scratching and after removal of hair on legs with wax, the eruption used to increase. She used to take antibiotics, anti-allergic, and anti-inflammatory oral medicines for each acute episode. Sometimes, when the symptoms used to be severe, her physician used to prescribe her local steroids as well. Her major concern was the frequency of recurrence increased to once in 2-3 months since November 2016. On investigations, her C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate was high indicating active inflammation.
Miss DD had a past history of piles and recurrent gastritis. She had suffered from anaphylactic reaction after insect bite 5 years back.
Her father and mother suffered from diabetes and hypertension.
She would eat both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. She had craving for spicy food and chicken. She had aversion to sweets, milk, and boiled eggs. She was sensitive to extremes of temperature.
She was working in TCS in Mumbai as a Business Analyst. She was staying alone in Mumbai. Her family was in West Bengal. Her father had his own business and her mother was a homemaker. Her younger sister was studying.
Miss DD was timid by nature. She had the fear of failure and fear of stressful situations. She used to avoid stressful situations. She had the fear of fire, animals, and darkness. She was reserved by nature and would not speak to strangers easily.
The case was evaluated by Dr. Shah as per homeopathic protocol, and he prescribed Vipera 30, Rhus toxicodendron 30, and Apis mellifica 30 along with research based medicines to the patient.
In March 2017, the patient reported an initial increase in the frequency of episodes of itching, purpuric rash, pain, and swelling on the lower legs. For the initial one month after starting the medicines, the frequency of episodes of vasculitis had increased but the intensity of the symptoms was less. Dr. Shah upgraded the prescription after going through the follow-up.
In April 2017, the patient reported 40% relief in itching, purpuric rash, pain, and swelling on the lower legs. The frequency and intensity of vasculitis was less in the last month. The patient continued the medicines prescribed by Dr. Shah.
In May 2017, the patient reported further improvement in the leukocytoclastic vasculitis. She mentioned 70% improvement in the relief from symptoms. The frequency and intensity of the symptoms was less. The patient was satisfied with the treatment, as she didn't take conventional medicines for last 2-3 months. The patient is still continuing the medicines for further improvement.

This case highlights that in leukocytoclastic vasculitis, if only skin is involved then you can expect good recovery in a short span with homeopathic treatment. You can expect a good recovery in the terms of reduction in itching, pain, burning, and swelling of the affected part.
