Marine Engineer Got A Great Relief From Extensive Psoriasis & Psoriatic Arthritis
60-years-old Mr. S.R. Naidu (PIN: 25365) from Mumbai, India approached LifeForce for the treatment of Extensive psoriasis that he was suffering since four years. He suffered from extremely extensive lesions over both of his legs (shin) and scalp. His lesions were red and inflamed and had plenty of scaling and white silvery flakes. He suffered from intense itching and dryness over his skin. His complaints used to aggravate more during the winters and cold weather. He used to apply olive oil on his dry skin which used to make him feel better.
Also, he was a known case of Diabetes (Insulin dependent) since 23 years, which was under control by taking Treseba 20 units daily since 1.5 years.
He also had Psoriatic arthritis since 2 years on his both ankles and both wrists. At present, there is no pain or discomfort.
His appetite was average. He had cravings for salty and spicy foods. He was ambithermal. His bowels were satisfactory. His nails had longitudinal ridges. His tongue was dry, pale, and coated.
He was a marine engineer. He had one son who was pursuing MBBS. His wife was a homemaker.
His father had hypertension. There was no other significant family history.
He was a fun loving person. He was easily approachable. He was quite satisfied with his life. Also, he was quite calm and relaxed person. He was quite confident about his things. He was also loquacious and expressive.
Dr. Shah studied the case and prescribed Lycopodium clavatum 30c TDS and Research Based medicines for 1 month. After 12 weeks, he reported 10% improvement in his psoriasis. Relief from itching was also better along with relief from scaling.
Thereafter, he was stable for next 6 months with the medicines. There was no increase in lesions, but itching got aggravated in between. Also, pain in the left wrist was aggravated in between.
In the next 6 months, the disease was stable, also no new lesion and no new spread were noted. Relief from itching was getting better significantly. After a few months, his old lesions experienced a great recovery than earlier, but scalp psoriasis increased suddenly. On inquiring, there was no related stress found. Pain in the joints too was reduced.
He is advised to continue the treatment for further improvement.
