Case-2: Good improvement seen in vertigo, tinnitus and hypertension
Mr P.A.S., patient reference number L-10047, 70 years old man, a retired personal assistant to the Managing director of a textile company, approached us on 6th October, 2008, for the treatment of Vertigo (giddiness), noises in the ears (tinnitus) associated with hypertension. He was already on anti-hypertensive medication and he requested medication for vertigo and tinnitus as the conventional medicine did not help him in this area.
He suffered with vertigo for about five months. He complained of giddiness with perspiration and sense of imbalance. He also felt exhaustion and weakness almost all the time. He experienced vertigo more on turing in the bed from left to right. Also, while stooping while reading religious book, sitting on the ground. He also had noises in the ears, especially in the left ear. The noises, he descried, as if some kind of hissing sound. He felt nausea and his vertigo will get better only after vomiting.
He was a simple, naïve person, having hypersensitivity to cold air and breeze. Also, he had signs of early prostate enlargement.
Based on his detailed case study as above as well as some other physical and emotional features, and the investigations, he was prescribed homeopathic medicine Baryta carbonicum 200c along with Dr Shah's patented medicine.
In two weeks time, his vertigo improved. In about eight weeks time, he improved very significantly and vertigo almost stopped. The noises in the ear also improve. His sense of well being improve remarkably. In about four months, he did very well in all respects. We continued his treatment for about six months more as the noises (tinnitus) is a resistant condition. Finally, his noises stopped completely by August 2009.
