An Outstanding Recovery From Chronic Lichen Planus Found With Homeopathy

A 23-years-old boy, Mr. N.M.K. (PIN: 33092) visited Life Force with his mother for his lichen planus complaints on the 8th August 2017. He had developed hyperpigmented & scattered spots on his abdomen, back, and both the legs for 12 years, but it was spreading rapidly from the last year. His genital and oral areas were not affected by it. The itching was extensive two months back. Now, there was no itching. He had applied steroid cream & taken medicines orally six months back. Besides this, he had a learning disability. He had not taken treatment for it.

He had fair skin and an average build. He was vegetarian by diet. He desired spicy food and sweets. He had no specific disliking with regard to food. His thirst was average, but his perspiration was less than average. His bowel movements were regular. His sleep was sound.

He was a student of 3rd year BA. His father was a manager in Bank of India, and his mother was a homemaker. His brother was working in a private company.

He had a child asthma complaint in his past medical history which was cured. In his family, his father was suffering from CA lymph node and diabetes. And, his mother was suffering from Lichen planus, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. His paternal grandmother was suffering from an underactive thyroid.

He was very obedient and adjustable in nature. He was reserved. He never demanded anything. Due to a learning disability, he had studied at a special school in his childhood. But, he wanted to study with normal children. He was irritated rarely.

Dr. Shah studied his case in detail and prescribed him a research-based molecule.

On 30th September 2017, when he gave his first follow-up, his relief from the complaints had started to show good improvement. His spots on the legs showed a 10% improvement, but other spots were as it is. His itching was totally cured. No new spots had appeared, and his old spots were also under control.

A few months later on 17th January 2018, when the patient gave his follow-up, the patient informed that his recovery from lichen planus had improved by more than 50%. All his spots showed good improvement. No new spots had appeared.

A few months later on 18th May 2018, he informed that no new spots had appeared. His old spots had improved a lot in terms of recovery. He no more suffered from the itching and burning sensation.
In the month of July 2018, he was advised to do some blood tests. In his reports, his vitamins were low. So, he was advised to start the vitamin supplements along with homeopathy for the better results.

On 29th November 2018, he visited the center with his mother. He informed a 75% improvement in his condition. Only hyper-pigmentation of lichen planus spots was remaining. All spots were in an inactive form. Overall, his condition had improved by more than 75%.

The patient is still continuing the homeopathic treatment from Life Force for further improvement.

    Conclusion:
This case highlights that Homeopathic medicine is highly effective in treating Lichen Planus successfully and safely without any side-effects.
