A Noteworthy Recovery From Peptic Ulcer Found With Homeopathy At Life Force
A 65-year-old housewife (PIN: 21210) started her treatment at Life Force six years back for her discomfort of the burning sensation in the stomach due to her complaints of peptic ulcer. She was also suffering from cervical spondylitis. She was a known cause of an underactive thyroid, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. She was taking allopathic medicines for her associated diseases for a long period of time.
In 2009, she started observing the symptoms, such as pain while passing motion and blood in her stools. She didn’t experience any nausea and vomiting. She was experiencing bloating sensation and a burning sensation in the stomach. She was experiencing the discomfort of frequent loose stools mixed with mucus. She had done Endoscopy and Colonoscopy, and it was diagnosed as a peptic ulcer. She started taking allopathic medicines but got only partial relief. While visiting our clinic, she was taking antacids. She had started developing mouth ulcers too. Her frequency of complaint was increasing during that time.
She was a pure vegetarian and had an aversion to spicy food. She liked to eat bland foods. Her perspiration was excessive. Her water intake was average. Her micturition was asymptomatic. She enjoyed a sound sleep. She had reached menopause 10 years back.
Her case was studied in detail and homeopathic medicines were prescribed to her accordingly. Based on her symptoms’ totality and her nature, we prescribed homeopathic medicines to the patient.
Follow-Ups:
In 2013 June, she had started taking medicine from Life Force.
Her relief from the complaints was better by 20%, after her first follow-up on 13th August 2013. Her acidity and bloating sensations had reduced. She was taking other conventional treatments for her associate complaints.
In October 2013 during her follow-up, she had experienced not much improvement in her condition as compared to the last time.
After 2014, she experienced major changes in her relief from the complaints. She had stopped taking SOS antacids.
At the beginning of 2016, she was relieved of almost all the symptoms of a Peptic ulcer. Also, she was happy that her associated diseases were stable and her health was improving.
Conclusion:
This case highlights that homeopathy can promote recovery from a chronic severe case of peptic ulcer effectively and safely without any side effects. In this case, conventional medicine had a minimal role and, later, the dependency of the patient on conventional medicine was eliminated.
