A 27-years-old lady, Dr. P.G.B. (PIN 30588) consulted at Life Force for Lichen Planus on the 10th December 2016. She had developed hyperpigmented, scattered spherical spots on her left thigh, left hand, and both her legs from the last two months. Her oral cavity and genitals were not affected by the disease. Her disease had progressed slowly from the last two months. She was experiencing itching in the eruptions. She had applied one ointment for a few days. She was not taking any medicine for it. Besides lichen planus, she was also suffering from allergic rhinitis from the last two months. She has completed two months antibiotic course for the same.

Dr. Shah studied her case in detail and she was prescribed a research-based molecule.

On 17th January 2017, when she gave her first follow-up, her complaints had started to show good improvement. All her spots had become dull in color and her itching had also reduced. Her relief from rhinitis complaint was also improved by more than 30%.

A few months later on 26th April 2017, when the patient visited the center, the patient informed that her lichen planus had improved more than 50%. The spots on her hand, thigh, and legs experienced more than 50% improvement. No new spots had appeared. Her relief from rhinitis also showed a 75% improvement. A new complaint of a mild headache had started bothering her from the last three months. This complaint was experienced by the patient only when she was not using earplugs.

A few months later on 4th September 2017, she informed that no new spots had appeared and her condition was 60% improved. Her rhinitis was also in good condition.

When the patient gave her follow-up on 18th April 2018, her lichen planus had improved by more than 80%. No active lesions were observed. Only hyper-pigmented spots remained. All her lichen planus spots showed an improvement, and also her anxiety level had reduced. Her relief from rhinitis and headache had also improved a lot.
