A case of psoriasis got excellent results in 6 months time
38 years old Mr. A. M. M. (Patient Identification Number - 19075) visited our clinic on 12th May, 2012 for various complaints. He was suffering from Psoriasis since 2 months. There were 2 – 3 mild spots on the back, abdomen and chest.
He had been applying dipsalic cream which contains (betamethasone dipropionate and salicylic acid) as a result of which the spots had become mild. There was mild itching and scaling.
He had complaints of heel pain in both feet since 2010. It had increased since last couple of months. He had taken some pain killers previously which did not help much.
He also complained of backache since 6 months. It would increase by long hours of traveling, jerking and bending.
He also had colds and nose block and throat pain since 3 months for which he would take conventional medicines as and when required.
He had developed headache since a long time. It would frequent at 2 times in a week with severe intensity. It would trigger by skipping meals or due to stress.
He had an average appetite with no specific liking or disliking. He was sensitive to warm temperature.
He was leading the accounts department in a reputed company. His wife was a HR manager in an IT firm. His daughter was in kindergarten. His mother was a widow staying with them.
His work related stress was high as he had to meet deadlines. He was leading the accounts department so, time to time reporting to seniors caused extended working hours. He was reserved and shy by nature. He had the habit of keeping most of the stress to himself. He did not like to share it with anybody.
He had been operated for kidney stone in 2005.
His father had expired due to heart attack. His mother was suffering from high blood pressure. His sister had expired due to blood cancer.
His case was studied in detail by Dr. Shah and he was prescribed Lycopodium Clavatum 30c along with some research based medicines. He was advised a X Ray of both heel by Dr. Shah.
After 6 weeks of medication (23rd June 2012) – he reported with mild improvement in all his complaints. The psoriasis had not spread. The heel x ray reported of bilateral calcaneal spur. The back pain and heel pain did not show much improvement. The headache, hair fall and cold had considerably reduced.
After 3 months of medication (13th August 2012) – he reported with almost 70% improvement in his psoriasis. The other complaints of heel pain, headache, back pain, hair fall and cold had also significantly reduced.
After 4.5 months of medicines (30th September 2012) – he reported complete recovery of his psoriasis spots. The complaints of heel pain, back pain, headache and hair fall were further better.
He is still continuing the medicines to get further better.
